So what I do is insert the sensor, cut four pieces (or however many) of the clear flexifix tape (I cut pieces that are about 3 and a half squares) to cover the white bandage, and then I cover the top of that with the skintac glue, let dry, and that typically keeps everything on for the 10 days, even with long hot showers, exercise, house cleaning etc. Sometimes I have to replace a bit of the tape, sometimes I add some more of the skintac to stick a corner down, but this works the best I've found. Those oval bandages are awful, they peel super quickly and get all stringy, I hate using them. I was using the oval bandages and then the clear flexifix stuff over that and then the glue, but it works just as well if not better with just the clear flexitape and then the glue.

Anyway, this is just what has worked best for me!

Depends on the phone operating system.

Android is anything that runs Android wear which means something like a ticwatch e ($90 referb on Amazon) to well over $400 for some really fancy ones.

I personally have a ticwatch e and I love it, my graph is front and center as soon as I flick my wrist (as it takes over to be the watchface (it shows time as well) and it's very much in sync with my phone. The official images on dexcoms we site for Android wear perfectly represent what mine looks like as well as the link below.

I've tried a few brands of adhesive patches/stickers, but these are by far my favorites - they last for the full 10 days without fraying the edges too much and come off pretty easily: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GXP57Z2/

I have been changing the batteries out in our G5 transmitters using Renata Watch Battery 389 and battery life has been 6-8 weeks before dying what battery do you recommend ?

Also when I have changed the batteries in the transmitter for a 2nd time I can't get it to connect again, have you managed to change the batteries more than once and have it successfully connect to the app ?

Thanks

If I'm not mistaken Dexcom doesn't say it's water proof. I use these for my son 3M Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressing... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000PYP5R4?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

Torbot Group Inc Skin Tac "H" Adhesive Barrier Prep Wipe, Liquid Form, Latex-free, Hypo-allergenic (Box of 50 Each) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JWSDHJC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_mqRLDbABP6FSF

I like the black Simpatch with Skin Tac wipes. I wear almost exclusively dark clothing, because as a diabetic, I could leak blood from any number of needle poked places. When the patch attracts fuzzies, it's no big deal because it's already black.

I would recommend liquid adhesive over any type of patch adhesive. All of the adhesive stays under the dexcom and doesn't attract any lint or dirt. I bought this bottle off amazon and it has lasted several years.
