If you do go the DIY route, don't be me and use acetone to get permanent marker off. I ended up dulling the glossy finish on some of my dice that way. I haven't tried the acrylic paint method yet, but there's some videos on Youtube showing how to do it.

I'm thinking Lustrous blue or Festive green could be good candidates.

Also, it wasn't bad for a Monday! Hope today went well for you too.

Use some micromesh like this: MicroMesh and then some nice plastic polish after you go through the grits to keep them shiny.

Granted I haven't done this on any dice but I've removed scratches from plexiglass and acrylic this way and its pretty good all said and done.

Just like /u/legendofhilda said you can Chessex or Wiz Dice "pound of dice" bags. I have bought the Wiz Dice (original version) and am happy with it.

Here are links to different ones:

Wiz Dice (original one):

Wiz Dice II:

Wiz Dice III:

Then there are other companies. Some say they include complete sets, like the ones above, and other say you get random dice.:

Monster Protectors:

Risky Actions:

You can also buy a Pound of D6's from Chessex:

Then there are the chinese sites like AliExpress but they will take longer to get to you:,searchweb201602_5_10152_10151_10065_10344_10130_10068_10324_10342_10547_10325_10343_10546_10340_10548_10341_10545_10696_10084_10083_10618_10307_5711215_10313_10059_10534_100031_10103_10624_10623_10622_10621_10620_10810_10811,searchweb201603_49,ppcSwitch_4&algo_expid=fed1d4cb-58d6-4265-9547-9b9ccec5312d-0&algo_pvid=fed1d4cb-58d6-4265-9547-9b9ccec5312d&priceBeautifyAB=0

There are probably others and you can always contact the different manufacturers directly to see if they can sell you bulk dice.

You could try this if your handwriting is pretty good.

When I make dice I polished my masters with these.
And when the dice come out of the mold I use them on the sprue marks as well. For the final polish I use headlight restoring polishing with an harbor freight version of a Dremel and a budding attachment.

Am I looking at $500+ in dice here?

Dude, these look pretty cool, but this company is insanely overpriced.

Look at these. Your sets come out to about $40 each. That's about double the cost when they should be some sort of a bargain since you're helping fund their project.

You can get the top right one on Amazon except the numbers are blue instead of gold. I have this set myself and it's one of my favorites.

u/Anianna · 2 pointsr/dice

Do you mean the Chessex Gemini Purple-Red with gold numbers? You can still get the set. It may be available at a local shop and here it is on Amazon

I hope that's what you're looking for since it's a set that's still available on the market.

ETA: It ocurred to me you may have meant the purple set with red numbers, which is also available on Amazon.

Funny enough, the set that I was thinking of is by Koplow games too. Here's the link:

I use hardware parts storage drawers like these. This way I can find whatever dice I need right away.

u/oddpairs · 6 pointsr/dice

Looks like the Chessex font.

I think your dice are white so they might be these, but if they're off-white/ivory they might be these.

u/Sphartacus · 3 pointsr/dice

I have one of these: Stanley 014725 25-Removable Compartment Professional Organizer

I took a couple trays out to hold pencils and dry erase markers. The little trays are big enough to hold a dice set or a few minis.

Here you go.

*Also, these are Hengda Dice (or HD Dice)'s 'pink pearl' set. They are resold under many names from US distributors.

Or apparently their new set that I just noticed series ii

I've picked up 3 lbs of the first link, came with almost always complete sets, with maybe 5 random extra dice that didn't match.

Edit, found a picture of the last [bag] (
