I haven't actually used it with my gimbal (Smove), but I bought this for a similar purpose. I haven't chosen the shotgun mic yet so I can't vouch for that part, but technically this adapter does what it says and allows power and mic at the same time AND changes the direction of the input by 90 degrees for both. I'd be curious to hear if this works out for you, or if you solve another way. Good luck.

Oh nice ! But I looked everywhere on that website and am confused now. Does that free battery is second battery ? So you get total of 2 batteries ? That gimbal price is not included with the battery ?

This B&H's return policy is a deal breaker though. Extended return and exchanges through February 1 2017 where's DJI is only 7 days but they confirm on their website you get total 2 batteries.
