No I do not.

I actually miss my mesh chair now. I'm not gonna tell you not to buy it but here is my experience.

I have a King DX Racer. I wanted a larger chair since I just like them bigger. This is supportive up to 300 lbs I believe and I am nowhere near that. 5'11 and around 200 lb's so well within the 'range'

Most people within a 6 month period get the chair squeak from hell. You will need to than call the cs and get a new hardware kit or buy one off amazon. Seems strange so many people have this issue within the 1 year period but you can google it. Pretty common. Also I have had mine replaced for about 3'ish months and its already making sounds again, which means I will have to replace it again soon.

This chair is so ungodly hot. NO BREATHABILITY. I think there is a fabric version but of course thats not popular so good luck finding it. I do not live in a sauna but wow especially in warm months this chair feels like I am in one. Now that its winter its like having a warm fire on my back. So if you live in Antartica this chair is probably amazing.

Its not that comfortable. Chairs take time to break in but I am almost a year into this chair and its still hard as rock. I guess that is good and bad.. I mean a mushy chair in a year sucks too but I wish this was a bit more comfortable.

On the plus side, It has a high back which is one thing I required and most office chairs don't go this route or are super expensive. It has good customizability. Can really control how the back sits or the angles. Still not comfortable. (maybe it takes 3-6 years and I will love it?)

It looks great which is why so many people buy it. Who doesnt want a formula 1 driving seat to sit in.

Maybe I sound over critical and the price isn't awful.. I have also priced 'real' office chairs and I know how much they cost. $500 is the average low to mid end so I get it. I am just overly disappointed and kind of wish I had spent a bit more money for the one that isn't on every twitch gamer stream. If you can try one in person somewhere I would and maybe see if there is a fabric version if you can stand it. Like I said I miss my mesh chair now.. was so cool.

I am just stuck with this because like you said.. who wants to buy some guys old chair. That fart line made me lulz.

Think I'm gonna go with the Amazon restock, only because I have $350 in gift cards, but thanks for the code regardless!

Hope you enjoy your chair as much as I will :)

I am 6'1 and 175lbs. I was looking into the drift series specifically this one (https://www.amazon.com/DOH-DF73-NW-Ergonomic-Executive/dp/B017HKFDMU/), but I am conerned I might be a little too tall for it. What do you think? I guess the racing series would fit my dimension the best, but I dont like the white and black pattern that one has and i need white and black to match my build. Another I just started looking into today was the classic series (http://www.dxracer.com/us/en-us/product/1/office_chairs/classic_series/oh-ce120-nw-ft/)

Some advice would be nice as I am looking to buy a chair asap. Thanks.

u/robotninja0 · 1 pointr/dxracer

The ones I got were actually a little more expensive:
https://www.amazon.com/Office-Chair-Caster-Wheels-Replacement/dp/B01CTIG4GE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486506089&sr=8-1&keywords=the+office+oasis+caster+wheels

I opted to buy these because of the high number of reviews with good ratings. I figured I already spent $300 on a chair, might as well get a good set of wheels for them. Although the ones you linked above looks pretty good too.

Having originally gotten a King series and returned it for the Classic I absolutely recommend the classic. Get the one on the right. The king series is stiff as a rock and has a curve at the top that can be tough on the neck. The classic is a lot more comfy and provides better support for the neck built into the chair. Also, if you get the classic. Get the one with the pullout legrest. It's great.

This is the one you want. I have the black/white version that's the same.

I'm 6'3" about 205 but if I went back to being a fatass the chair would still be great for me.

I'm 5'10, roughly 195 lb. I just purchased DOH/DF73/NC from Amazon. It has not shipped yet. Looking for a chair to spend 6-8 hours in, that will support my neck/spine health. I like the style of that one the most. What exactly is the different between Gaming and office? From what I could find, Office is meant for longer periods, is that correct? Just looking to make sure the model I bought will work for me.

Edit: I do enjoy crossing my legs at times. Will that be an issue with this model?

u/mackid1993 · 2 pointsr/dxracer

It should as it seems to be fine in my chair, but you can always return it if it doesn't fit.

Here is the Amazon link.

http://www.amazon.com/Stroke-Replacement-Office-Cylinder-Pneumatic/dp/B00CKRBJTW/

At the highest point it brings my chair to barstool height which is probably nice for taller people lol.

This is not the most aesthetic choice, but I bought this Queen sized blanket (extremely soft), and folded it a bunch of times into the size of a seat cushion. It's relatively thick, but provides the perfect amount of padding for a leap chair. I love the combination of medium/ soft cushion + excellent lumbar support. Not sure how it compares to DX Racer, but it works for me.

I apologize, I commented too fast. I'm not sure about this model. I was ordering a King series bc they had switched to the new series and I was not familiar with it so I wanted to buy the model I had researched which was this one. https://www.amazon.com/DOH-KS11-Ergonomic-Executive-Furniture/dp/B01HL1H8XW/ref=sr_1_2?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1484706933&sr=1-2&keywords=dxracer+king

It's also shipped by newedge (arrives in the morning!) so I thought it was the same but it's not. Since then the dxracer site seems like they do have kings in stock again so idk, guess I didn't need to go this route, but I'm sure either way is the same.

u/DXRacer · 2 pointsr/dxracer

A King series should fit you the most comfortably.

All of our armrests have about the same amount of cushion, but there are some third party solutions on Amazon if you require extra cushion on top of what we already offer. Be aware that memory foam covers do generate additional heat.

I'm 6'4", about 200 ib. I spent between 5-10 hours a day in my computer chair and I sit in a lot of different ways; upright, slouched, legs crossed or lifted on something, or sitting on my feet. I've been looking into DX for a long time now and I think I'm going to get one soon, but I'm very disappointed I cant go anywhere to test one first. I tried one at GDC once and loved it, but I'm extremely hesitant to buy one for $300+ before having tried it first, and I've heard about the 20% restocking fee if returned.

Price will factor into my decision a lot. I think it's very unlikely I would (or could) spend $400+, and would ideally like to stay below 300, but I might be persuaded for 300-350 for a perfect fit.

I've read that the side pieces on the seat cushion can press into your thighs and cause discomfort. With all the weird ways I sit, I'd really like to avoid this.

I'm kinda looking at this one, but it's at the upper end of my price range and I'm not sure yet.

Oh I didn't even consider buying a different type of wheels. Thanks for the information is this the one you were referring too?

They are well priced to if this in deed the correct one!

u/DXRacer ; Hello, what would your recommendation be for someone 5'6" ~220lbs. I would be in the chair 4-8hrs each night and would be looking to get the additional foot rest as well.

I have a standard sized desk with my computer and a TV mounted 7' from the floor, so I would be using the leanback/tilt often while using my consoles or casting TV.

I feel constrained in my current 'office chair' http://www.amazon.com/Lorell-Executive-High-Back-Chair-Fabric/dp/B000Q5XTE8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage that I got in 2012.

Thank you for your input!

Is there an easy way to tell if a Racing Series chair has Multi-Functional or Conventional Tilt mechanism? For example, which kind is this?

u/toastman42 · 2 pointsr/dxracer

Interestingly, the eBay listing you linked for the black racing series being sold by Newedge US is back up to $999. At this particular moment, however, Newedge is also selling the same model on Amazon for $289. Hmmm. Is Newedge up to something shady here?

u/BobDole101 · 2 pointsr/dxracer

Not trying to start anything but I did see a 400 or at least 300lb limit on that chair places heres one link
http://www.amazon.com/DXRacer-CBJ120-FT-Ergonomic-Support/dp/B0160EEH0I/ref=pd_zg_rss_nr_hg_3733721_7
This is from a official reseller. They also had a CC model which supported more too I think.

u/Shadax · 2 pointsr/dxracer

I am your exact weight and height and I got the racing series. It's perfect.

That one is unavailable apparently, but a search shows some in stock ones.

u/Intrikate · 1 pointr/dxracer

I just got my dx formula last week and bought some padding because people have complained about the armrests.

I bought these
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M8F9IYC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They fit like a glove and make the armrests 10 times better imo.

u/the10drforever · 1 pointr/dxracer

That seems to be something in the tilting mechanism. It may be that the spring inside there has lost its lubrication. Try adjusting the tension if the tilting to see if that changes anything. Also to lubercate it I would try a spray lubricant. Like this or anything similar https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00631GSSI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dhASybSCX03CF

Note the DXRACER official response below and don't void your warranty, that being said.

The video helped me disassemble the chair however just adding grease did not resolve the issue. In the video the rubber grommet is in the wrong place during installation and what isn't shown is that there is a 2nd washer missing, likely at the bottom of the wheel portion. The bearings need to be sandwiched in between 2 metal washers and that is missing in the video.

This part sold though amazon resolved my issue. Follow the instructions that come with the repair kit exactly and it will resolve that popping and clicking issue. If you look at the reviews look at the customer images. the image with the 4 parts is the issue that is happening with your chair.

Hey man I fixed my DX Racer's clicking noise by replacing the bearing and washers. My washers had dents in them from where the bearing sat and was causing some looseness in the assembly. Cost me 9 bucks on amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CEZ1EOK

/u/DXRacer this is a very common issue on many of your chairs. Why do you guys give the people the run around? Send them a rubber washer, 3 metal washers, a bearing, and a retaining clip and call it a day.
