The same way you type anyone else? Yes, it’s technically a “self reporting” test but anyone mildly familiar with MBTI knows there are demonstrable patterns of behavior and observable traits corresponding to the different “types”. Nurture by Nature is a particularly good book on the subject.

The formative years of children’s personalities, developmentally speaking, are between the ages of four and eight. My child is almost seven and exhibits pretty standard behavior of an Se dom.

Since I’m his mother, am knowledgeable about MBTI, and am highly intuitive about other people in the first place, I’m aware of his strengths and weaknesses...as well as those of the other people in my close network.

I’m surprised I’d have to explain that to an ESTP.

I was going to write something, but there's no tangible info to reply to.

So instead I'll ask: Have you read this book. Has he?
