This is really cool. /u/GoldenChaosGod, is it your initiative? Website looks great. As a podcaster, I highly recommend you get CallRecorder for Skype (for recordings) and Auphonic (for easy post production). This will give you this kind of result. Little less noise, even with "bad" microphone. Good choice on Simplecast (y) I highly recommend the Samson Q2U mic (Amazon), it's a great bang for buck USB mic that I have used in the past as well. I'll chip in a couple of DAI if money is tight.

Hit me up if you need some feedback on the podcast. Feel free to ignore as well!

I like ETH a lot more than BTC, but am going to come to BTC's defense here because I disagree with some of your points.

>I've seen a few people argue that BTC is an excellent SoV because it's up thousands of percent in 5 years. But that makes zero sense to me..

This also makes zero sense to me. BTC is not a SoV simply because the price has generally been appreciating over time. It will be a SoV in the future because of predictable monetary policy enforced at the protocol level.

>So then it became a 'Store of Value'...

The SoV/digital gold narrative has been around for a while, dating back well before the late 2017 bubble (e.g. this book from early 2015).

I think BCH is closer to fulfilling the promises of digital cash with fast txns with low fees. But fast txns with low fees for a currency whose only purpose is to be spent (i.e. no incentive to hold, like what there will be with ETH) presents pretty poor tokenomics unless it can actually replace fiat (obviously very difficult in the short term), especially when compared to a model where the whole point is to hold and not really use your BTC for anything (enforced through increasing scarcity and, like it or not, slow txns with high fees that incentivize people to treat BTC like digital gold). So what we've really learned from 2017 is that the SoV narrative is worth a lot more than the digital cash narrative, despite the fact that it is undermining some of the principles from the initial vision.

>Since it has become a SoV it has had only 7 months out of the last 21 months (since Dec 17) where it has been trading above $10k.. so how does that at all prove that it is a viable SoV??

BTC is not supposed to be a SoV right now. I generally disregard any person who tries to insinuate that increases in BTC's price can be attributed to the same flight to safety that drives up gold and bond prices (at least, at this point in time).

The value of BTC as a SoV is inversely correlated to the value of BTC as a lucrative investment. In other words, by the time BTC actually begins to act as a viable store of value, its price will be much higher than it is now.

Notebooks by themselves can be archived depending on the type of media you are writing on. Welcome to the snobbery that is writing implements and media! I personally use Sakura-brand Pigma Micron 05 pens and acid free journal paper, to prolong the lifespan of any writing. Anything pH neutral in a pen is fine. Paper can get crazy expensive and usually its the ink that fades before the paper totally yellows out. A six pack of sakura pens usually last me the better part of the year - 6 pack

It is just the way my brain works, but I'd keep the topics in categories (I was also imagining how you could better use the content for your future podcasts/interviews). You can also create subcategories for date of a particular topic. That way, you can also add in even more meta ways of recalling the subject: red binders for ETH1.X to ETH2.0 transitions for example. Or green for "MSM" coverage of crypto, etc. It might be harder for someone else to use your work later, but the categorical method is a fun way to store stuff.

And one thing to leverage is google alerts if you are not already. Any topic that you create, make a google alert for as well. Worst case, it'll pick up some of the topics and best case, you'll get even more information to store.

Great quote

Grit

When I interview candidates, it's of the utmost importance. The best employees I've hired are never the most talented. Give me a coach-able employee with persistence and good things will happen. I actually have them rank persistence, talent and knowledge then tell me why they put them in that particular order. How they answer that question is usually the deciding factor between candidates.

This is not a paid review. I was a subject in the book and this is my content regarding Dan's wonderful journey.

Available through Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Confessions-Crypto-Millionaire-Unlikely-Corporate-ebook/dp/B07VBS7Z5K

The Ebook is on sale the first week at $2.99.

I was lucky enough to connect with Dan a few times over the last year in preparation for this book. Man! What a read! I'm so excited now that it's out I can finally make a video review of it. There's just so much to say about because there's literally nothing like it out there for (at that time) Ethtrader frenzy talk. He captured it perfectly.

Yeah, the money is great, but the real story is the salvation of his soul and marriage. Just an incredible journey. Leaving corporate America is the tagline, but the real story was this crazy time on Reddit we all experienced.

Amazon just listed the paperback, but it won't be connected to the other versions for a day. You can buy it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1733171703?ref_=pe_3052080_397514860

Thanks again, and apologize for the inconvenience.

don't forget about the $2,500,000(12,500ETH) in burned ETH here too!

https://etherscan.io/address/0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dead

etherscan has it listed as the ENS burn address but I read in Mastering Ethereum that it was the default burn address.

Minimum requirements for what? A fast sync node or a full node? The article uses a fast sync but also mentions a full node, and I used to have a medium article that I used to buy my pi stuff.

This case. This SD card. This HDD.
