I wouldn't recommend getting a small form factor, but they are cheaper, and they will fit up to a GT 1050 Low Profile(you have to specifically get a low profile model), other wise a GT 1030 will drop right in, you just need to swap the plate on the back of it with the low profile one they all come with.
I use this mouse thing with my surface pro. Works awesome because you don't need a desk and your not limited with having to hold a controller.

I would recommend against the farming sim wheel and go with something like the Logitech G920/G29. Just because it will be more compatible with other games such as Euro Truck Sim or other driving games. I also HIGHLY recommend TrackIR if you get a wheel. Using the mouse to look around is a major pain in the dick (trust me I did it for years).
Here's my setup right now. On the left I have a joystick I use for loader controls and stuff.
Does FS2015 support a 6DOF joystick/mouse, like Space Navigator? It's compact and gives you an extra axis to assign. Not many games support them, but some do.

If you mean the package that is designed for FS 17, the only part in that package that is worth it is the control panel. You can chuck the wheel and pedals away. The only dodgy part with the side panel is the little wheel down on the left.
You should've just bought this and bought some other wheel and pedal combo.

I don't know about the protection in the retail game. But you could maybe download an ISO of the game and entering your own cd key? Not sure if the game even has a cd key. That's technically not pirating I think. PM me if you need some more info on that :)Forget that. Game is protected.
