I don't think the Last Great Time War should ever be shown. It's better left to the imagination. That said, here are some good ways to get your Paul McGann fix:
Have fun! :)
>it’s confirmed that the audiobook for A Childhood’s End is read by Sophie Aldred herself.
Just like with Human Nature (which I'm due to start any day now, once I've finally finished Sanctuary - so probably a few weeks still, realistically ha ha), I'll definitely get both the book and the audio for At Childhood's End. Have the book to flick through and display on my shelf, and get the audio to enjoy the performance by the genuine voice of the character (and devour the story faster cause I read quite slowly these days).
Honestly the title alone would have sold me on this one, let alone the author, the premise or the Doctor - At Childhood's End is one of those evocative titles I just can't resist, like ...Be Forgot, A Life Worth Living (which I still haven't gotten my grubby hands on yet, dang it), Parting of the Ways or A Death in the Family.
Wonder if we'll get any indication of how/when/why Ace finally left the Doctor in this book? I mean it sounds like those circumstances will be relevant to the story, so it will be interesting to see where it goes with that. I still haven't experienced any "Ace leaves the Doctor" story yet besides Love and War (which I know was temporary), so whatever they go with in this one could become my 'canonical' course of events.

>Sales at time of posting: DARK SHADOWS 50%
I feel like there were so many more sales around Halloween last year. I guess that was mainly because they were celebrating series 11 airing, but still. I have yet to get through all the Dark Shadows I got last year, and haven't really gotten into the franchise in general so I'm not going to buy more yet, so I wish they could've put some Dorian Gray, Sherlock Holmes, Omega Factor (which I have started getting into) etc. on sale as well.
I think they might be talking about this one. Honestly, making a calendar with past Doctors and another one with just Jodie seems like a good compromise, considering there are only 12 months anyway.
Grant Morrison's Doctor Who. Features a lot of 6 and 7, and he is creative and amazing.
There's a fantastic book dedicated to this sort of thing. I never watch Classic Who without it by my side. http://www.amazon.com/The-Doctor-Who-Error-Finder/dp/0786419903
She's listed as performing it on Amazon. If that's true then her and Catherine Tate being involved is fantastic news.
I just read Ex-Heroes, and they mention Captain Jack to describe a hero's superpowers. It's your typical zombies + superheroes fare, but there's a fair bit of pop culture references, and a surprise in one of the later chapters for any regular BBC watcher.
If you got the time, please find a way to watch or listen to the missing episodes as so many of the shows best stories are missing

Go read The Greatest Show Off Earth
This kind of reminds me in a way of "Emperor Joker" spoiler alert.......
At the end, Batman remembers every single death the Joker put him through. Superman takes on that pain so that Batman can keep on living. I think Bruce kind of remembers the deaths afterwards, but he's able to move forward. I think the Doctor is like that now.

Not mentioned in the article, but also coming out just slightly after 2nd, 7th, 8th, and 9th, is the 10th Christmas Surprise.

This Town Will Never Let Us Go isn't actually that pricey (I have a copy on my shelf), and Alien Bodies is only about half an order of magnitude more expensive. Ebooks are definitely cheaper (possibly infinitely so), but if you want physical copies it's still not unreasonable imo.
Does anyone know where i can buy Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who?
It's been "Temporarily out of stock" on Amazon for months now.
This came in my recommended.. have you included this in any of your news posts? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Doctor-Who-Day-She-Saved/dp/1405940875
Only $1700 on Amazon.

Have you ever read Bernard Cornwell's The Last Kingdom? It's a historical fiction series in which the protagonist is of the Norse religion, so believes in Valhalla (the hall of Odin, where dead warriors go to feast and fight in glory for eternity). He often complains about how boring the Christian Heaven sounds. Your "harps and eternal happiness" really reminded me of his descriptions.
Good point. Without redshirts dying, how do we know the monster is dangerous?
Poor bastards.
