Many folks have already given good advice here about douching out (no soap, warm water, etc.). I'd add that if you DO use a shower shot, as someone suggested, be careful with respect to the water pressure. To much too fast can injure you.

Now, with regard to being penetrated, there are 4 basic rules:
1.) There is no such thing as "too much" lube.

I also highly encourage anyone who is interested to go to their local (new) bookstore and to get them to order a copy in for you. This potentially gets them to order more copies and to have them in store, increasing visibility and potential for others to buy it; plus, many times, buying from a local independent bookstore may actually be cheaper than than Amazon/online. This tweet explains the importance of independent bookstores for authors. I'd also recommend telling your local public library to purchase a few copies as well if you don't want to spend money on a copy but still want to support my book! (Most public libraries have a Suggest a Purchase page of some sort).

It works like a charm for me. I can't use the lactaid brand stuff because I'm allergic to one of the inactive ingredients. I usually use 1 of the capsules if it's just a little bit of cheese or something, but if it's something like ice cream or pizza, I'll take 2.
