i use products from the art of shaving - their shaving oil is especially nice and when used generally makes the blade slide across my face and not cut it.

the blade holder (i'm bad with names - razor?) was a gift during the shaving exchange. I think it was this one

and then i got myself some of these blades

what ive discovered is that the blades are cheap but if you want a good clean shave the oil is really nice (bit expensive though). In a pinch ive used shaving cream from a can before with safety blades, was still a really close shave.

I've cut myself a few times but after getting used to the blades I generally do no end up with cuts - was a bit of a learning curve.

This is the Doggies book by Sandra Boynton. It's awesome, as in it's not horribly mind-numbing for parents to read with the babies. All her stuff is great.

On of the best books I've ever read. It describes the utter amazement of the wildness and intelligence of the tigers (what I'd imagine most of humanity feeling towards large predators throughout time) and additionally fitting for the time, how the Russian mindset was going through the nineties.. I'd suggest reading Bill Browder's book right after this one for the follow up....

It's also a masterclass in writing about a flawed person ala Krakauer in the portrayal of the main character.

I think Astras are the cheapest at $11 for 100 on Amazon. Feathers are $26 for 100. I think those are the most extreme cases for popular brands, but I could be wrong. You can always buy a sampler from TryABlade to find out what brand you like the best.

I wish I'd thought to hook a drill up to the shaft of one of these things back when we'd peel hundreds of apples for applesauce. Would've saved hours of cranking.

Somebody remind me of this when fall comes, ok?

I GOT THIS BULB. Bought it as an add on with amazon. Was like $5. Totally worth it.

Title already taken: https://www.amazon.com/Umpire-Strikes-Back-Ron-Luciano/dp/0553050109

I read it when I was in high school so has been a long time, but I remember it being a very funny look at MLB umpiring. The umpire that wrote it has since passed away.

Those things are the best! Cheap and stupidly satisfying. Replaced the bathroom light at my girlfriend's house in the middle of the night. Woke up to her mom freaking out—thought she was hallucinating.

Are magnets powerful enough to clean insulated glazing windows? I would really buy this for my obsessed mom...

A great series of books https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0010SKUYM/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1

!! Warning, the series isn't finished and all who've read the first 2 books are anxiously pulling our eyes out, waiting for the final book !!

Did you happen to write a review of this cheese. There is also plenty of other good reviews

Just a suggestion, best blades I have ever used, and for $12 you are good for quite a long time. 100 blades is 12 cents a blade, and you use half of one in a shavette. When I shaved regularly I would go a week of shaving daily without issue on one, just changed it after a week or so usually because I could.

I have the Klein version of these.

https://www.amazon.com/Klein-Tools-11061-Self-Adjusting-Stripper/dp/B00CXKOEQ6

I've used them a lot. They work great. You may need to adjust the tension depending on wire size and the slickness of the insulation. I could see them being hard to use with really slick wires or wires where the insulation is very elastic. I've mostly used them on 12-18 awg gxl automotive wire. But, I have used them on smaller and bigger wires without issue.

I love them for creating gaps in wires for terminals to run common power and ground. Here is an example I did for a switch panel. Common power and ground for the switch lights kept the need for more wires to a minimum.

In case anyone was wondering why the two switches on the right are different, it is for my winch. One switch needs to be on for the winch in/out switch to function.

but then do I use a towel to dry my tookis? I've never used a bidet and don't know the etiquette . I also saw this bidet that installs under the seat which is a little cheaper. But I think if I got one, I would go all out and get a heated seat, and heater water bidet, something like this, then I could finally shit in comfort.

Fuckin hell.

Furniture safety straps. One end is secured to a structural part of your furniture and the other end is secured to a wall stud (don't just screw it to drywall, that wont hold. It has to be screwed to a stud). Use multiple strapsif needed.

They're like $5.00 USD. I don't want to hear a any excuses for not using these if you have kids.

Or buy a folding solar charger and a battery pack because they're more practical unless you live in the most cloudy of places.

http://www.amazon.com/Paladone-Products-JUL121993-Tetris-Alarm/dp/B007Z14ILE

Plays the theme song when alarm goes off. But just a cheap novelty item, don't expect it to last.

That's actually a book: the autobiography of the MLB umpire Ron Luciano. He was famous for his feuds with managers Earl Weaver and Billy Martin, and used to pull all sorts of stunts. Weaver got so mad at him one time that he took second base and refused to give it back.

Luciano was most famous for how he ejected players, though: he'd jump up in the air, whirl around, scream, and throw 'em out. Great fucking book. (There's even sequels!)

Penguins attack people when they're hungry?

edit: Tiger attacks are indeed rare, but they occur much more frequently with the Bengal subspecies. There are a few theories regarding the cause of this, most focus on the idea that their territory is either not particularly suitable to the hunting of normal prey species (the Sundarbans) or that humans are encroaching on their territory. Amur tiger attacks on humans are very rare, and it is almost always found that the tiger responsible for human deaths was injured in such a way that it was incapable of hunting it's natural prey species. source: The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival
