I also find that cheeseforum.org is a great resource, with lots of helpful folks.
The above resources are great for getting started, but I've found the most help to have worked with actual cheesemakers. I took a year off 6 years back to spend some time with English and French cheesemakers, which was AMAZING, and have been more recently taking courses offered by Acadamie Opus Caseus, which have improved our cheeses enormously.

I've done that with some stuff I made. It's also really good at keeping their little hooves down. ;-)
Glad it's holding up! We raise fainting goats, and we have one Boer goat. The Boer - she loves to destroy stuff, and 20 or so fainting goats playing does a lot of damage.
When I was looking into getting goats I read these two books to give me an idea of what I would be getting myself into. Storey's Guide to Raising Meat Goats. Storey's guide Raising Dairy Goats. There's just enough information in both books that will help you learn about their care.

I have something similar to this. When you press the button the bristles pull back and you can clean the hair off easily. My girls love it.
