I actually don't think I am going to go with any of these. More than likely I will go with the Gen 2 Magpul BUIS (Back Up Iron Sights). My gun nut buddy rocks them on more than one of his ARs and swears by them, and I figure I'm going to be keeping them around for a good long while so might as well drop some cash for a proven product.
Here's a link, they run about $70 right now. They have a similar, cheaper set available, but it is usually just used for airsoft.
https://www.amazon.com/Magpul-Industries-Generation-Backup-Sights/dp/B01GDL22O6/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1509597677&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=magpul+sights&psc=1
If $70 dollars is too steep, the Tacticon sights I listed are worth looking at. I've never handled them, but they seem like a reputable company and the positive reviews are just about identical to Magpul's. There was also talk of the UTG iron sights. I checked them out, but the reviews weren't as positive. Sucks, because they look badass.
In any case, my rifle won't be here for about another two weeks. I'll keep a look out for a good sale that may change my mind.
Incidentally, I handled a Smith and Wesson M&P Sport II .22lr a few months ago. I was deeply considering getting a little .22 AR for some cheap practice. It came with some sights that I absolutely loved. Very snappy, great construction, very nice. Turns out, they were Magpul Gen 2s.
I currently use the Peltor Sport Tactical 100 ($50) which does have a very basic compression circuit. At least from my personal experience, the noise suppression performance in that model is better and the sound more natural than the Howard Leight Impact Sports, though both pale in comparison to my employer-provided MSA Sordins.
If I was in the market for a new set, I'd probably be looking at:
Of course, any set of Peltors I might buy would also get 3M camelback gel pads installed, which adds another $40. The difference in comfort with those pads is amazing; with the standard soft plastic pads the Peltors get uncomfortable for me after an hour or two, but with the gel pads I'm fine wearing them for the duration of 10+ hour international flights. The MSA Sordins come with similar gel pads installed, but overall they're $100 more than the Peltor 500 + gel pads.
So yeah, if I were buying today, I would most likely spring for the Peltor Sport Tactical 500 + camelback gel pads for a total of $160. If Bluetooth is not useful for you, you could save $20 by dropping down to the Peltor Sport Tactical 300.
Even just the $50 Peltor 100s should be a significant improvement over the Howard Leight Impact Sports or Peltor RangeGuards.
I just picked up this pic rail for my 10/22 TD. Was a little turned off by the name of the company, but it's actually quite good.
Now, I bought it so i can chop it in half because I had Tech Sights in the first 2 holes in the receiver and had a spare micro red dot to use, so i mounted the chopped rail to the other 2 holes in the receiver.
As far as rings go, consider BKL if you really want to go on the cheap. They make stuff that's good enough for 22LRs, I use their rings on my CZ452 and was pretty impressed with those as well.
I’d much rather go for the 3M EEP-100. 27 NRR capable out the box with the right ear piece and upgradable to 30 NRR. Same price too.
https://www.amazon.com/3M-PELTOR-Electronic-Earplug-EEP-100/dp/B07P8YDBZD
I’ve been meaning to write a full review on these but I’ll give a short snippet on how they are:
I bought one of these a while ago from an Amazon vendor. It's heavy as fuck, but does the job.
EDIT: Don't know if you need other tools, but this seems like a pretty good deal too, since it also includes vise blocks and a front sight tool for not much more.
EDIT #2: You'll also want a roll pin punch set if you don't already have one. A roll pin starter set and a rubber/plastic mallet are nice to have but not absolutely needed.
If you are interested in dipping your toe into in-ear electronic protection, I would recommend starting with the EEP-100 for ~$144. The included foam tips will get you 27 NRR and you can increase that to 30 NRR with replacement tips at ~$21 for 10 pairs.
I have the EEP-100 and use them outdoors with the 27 NRR tips and am very pleased with their performance. I am using them to replace Howard Leight Impact Sport electronic over ears. My biggest complaint with over ears is when I shoot a rifle my cheek weld will break the seal. I would resort to foam plugs under the impact sports and then turn them all the way up. This was uncomfortable for extended range trips and I still had to talk loud/ yell to range buddies.
With the EEP-100 I can keep them in ear at a good volume and not break the seal from cheek weld on a rifle. Outdoors they work perfectly and I don’t notice any discomfort from extended range time and the 27 NRR allowing too much noise in.
I plan to use these with centerfire suppressed rifles as soon as my cans clear. I will probably bump down to the 23 NRR tips in that case as I won’t need much to stop the remainder of the sound with the suppressed rifle. Even dry firing and racking and dropping bolts/slides the EEP-100 will pick that up and gate that noise. Pretty impressive.
Your use case may be different, but the price to performance for me is perfect.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AEY4RRO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Zc8GDb2PT8MZY
Not at this price. Since it is a solid scope, but a budget one nonetheless, I would assume folks would be looking for a decent mount. I would get something like this basic $25. Honestly, any of the ones on Amazon (from sellers like TMS) that have decent ratings and aren't rock bottom priced will probably do fine. Many of the decent ones all come from the same few overseas places.
As a slight step up I would look into Aero Precision Mounts.
And on the highest end I would look at Amercan Defense, but at that point the mount cost more than the scope.
I didn't even bother mentioning Larue, Bobro, and others because I don't think you (general you, not directed at the poster) would pair the Crossfire with one of these.
Is she primarily a pistol shooter, or a rifle shooter? For handgun days, I'm pretty happy with my Blackhawk Sportster Deluxe. My only gripe is that it's more than a little wide and bulky, but the plus side of that is that it'll hold just about whatever you'd want to pack in there.
For rifles, I strongly recommend the NcSTAR Double Carbine Case (or the Double Subgun Case for AR pistols and similarly-sized guns). I have the 42" bag, as well as the subgun bag, and I have zero complaints. The bags aren't excessively bulky, but they have more than enough storage space, and I'm a big fan of their general design.
Build a complete AR-15 using the stripped lower linked in the OP for $35 plus the following parts:
Total: $380.50 shipped for an AR15
This isn't gonna be a nice AR by any means and in fact I expect it to come out looking pretty butt ugly, but it is an AR, and I would expect it to go pew if you assemble it correctly. Good luck!
Edit: The barrel in this build kit looks like it is a fluted, heavy, stainless 416R Bear Creek Arsenal barrel that sells for $95 on their website. It is the "better" 416R steel, according to their specs, and it is .223 Wylde with a 1:8" twist, so that combined with the free-floated handguard and you might actually be able to expect pretty decent groups.
Final Edit - 5/9/17 10:30 AM EDT
Lower receiver marked back up to $45 making this a $390.50 complete AR now. Deal marked NSFW as it no longer reflects the title price.
Found it!
NCSTAR VISM Double Carbine Case. Comes in 36" and 42" sizes, and a handful of color choices which vary in price by a few bucks. The 42" Brown/Tan was about $50 for me and I've been really happy with it so far. Lots of straps & buckles, seems like solid construction, and it does better as a backpack than I expected when fully loaded down. It's not built for long distance comfort like high-end backpacking gear, but that's just not what it's for, so BFD. Great bargain IMO.
https://www.amazon.com/VISM-NcSTAR-Double-Carbine-Case/dp/B00XRHGMXC
Should probably mention a price range. Thats quite a long list of options. BUT if its just a .22 and you aren't looking to spend a boatload, the Bushnell TRS-25 is a great little quality red dot for the money. $50 shipped w/ amazon prime https://www.amazon.com/Bushnell-Trophy-TRS-25-Riflescope-tilted/dp/B00CIY7JAU
Seems like a pretty good deal considering the optic sells for $420 on amazon Here.
So it's like you're paying
$480$580 for a full M4 style AR-15. Doesn't seem to be marked up very much to me.=( My math is bad as /u/MyFishIsGold pointed out
So... we're looking at $48-$49 shipped, why not just get this on Amazon? Assuming tihs is the same one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00XRHGMXC/ref=olp_f_primeEligible?ie=UTF8&mv_color_name=all&mv_size_name=all&f_new=true&f_primeEligible=true
36" is from $46, and 42" is from $49; both shipped Prime. Maybe it would be worth it if you get the free shipping coupon like OP mentions.
Sorry to break it to you, but there is a lot more competition in the sup $200 micro red dot market.
They are all more or less excellent. I prefer the Vortex because it has an unbeatable warranty.
Prove it.
It's never gone below $390 on amazon, pretty good estimation of average price. http://camelcamelcamel.com/Aimpoint-PRO-Patrol-Rifle-Optic/product/B007GDR0I4
Amazon has it from 3rd party sellers for $84 and free shipping: linky
I have one on my budget PSA AR build. I mounted it and haven't had any problems. The mounting bolts/nuts feel cheap but the actual mount is sturdy.
I would probably spring for a nicer mount if you are building a high end AR or a long range precision type rifle, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy it for a budget build or plinker.
There are a couple hundred amazon reviews: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/cr/B00DP26OUK/ref=mw_dp_cr
Free shipping is always good.

I think this would be a good mount. Aero Precision makes good products. https://www.amazon.com/Aero-Precision-ULTRALIGHT-SCOPE-MOUNT/dp/B00JVTD4EK/
I was in the same boat a couple of years ago. The only thing that I added beyond more mags was a two-point sling. I purchased this one off of amazon for $20 and it's well built and has served me well.
I didn't go too crazy on accessories and spent more money on ammo and range time.
DPMS Oracle for $399 (after rebate) blows this away in terms of quality and value. Throw on a $30 TRS-25 Red Dot and you're good to go.
I know it's not from OP's website/deal but check this for some decent looking storage for your pmags: https://www.amazon.com/MTM-Tactical-Magazine-Storage-TMC15/dp/B00HVDFSQ0
The insert is sold separately for about half the price I believe if you want to wait and camelcamelcamel the items to get a better deal.
Super simple, I just installed my rail last night. I just bought this on Amazon. Literally just four screws to replace, though the threads are really small so you just have to be careful not to strip them.
I have this one. For 20 bucks it's been great.
FWIW, I picked up this one from amazon:
CCOP MNT-1516 High Profile AR-ArmourTac Rifle Scope Mount Rings for Picatinny Rail, 30mm for $28 and have been very happy with it.
Don't have a PEPR to compare it to side by side, but it's a little bulky...and a little heavy, but....if that's all the PEPR is, why not spend half the money and get the amazon one.
If you're going with a LaRue, or a Aero Precision, then that's a different ballgame.

I'd probably pass, this isn't even a great price. if you want to roll the dice on an unknown vendor on a known website, here is one for $69 shipped on amazon.
Order this. I have had no problems with it. Works great. $33 free shipping with prime

Did you ever get that Vortex elsewhere? If not, I've been pretty happy with this.
$135.10 (before tax)
$169at amazon for prime day. As mentioned by u/guacamoleburger below, these also do not include the 30NRR tips, only 27s
Edit: wasn't logged in, you save an additional 20% in cart if you have prime. Might need to pick up a pair for hunting
Plano tactical 42" ones go on sale pretty often for about $60.
What is it you want in a mount? Light weight? Picatinny rings? Low cost?
My safe bet is usually the Aero:
https://smile.amazon.com/Aero-Precision-Ultralight-Standard-Anodized/dp/B00IB1V65I/ref=sr_1_9?crid=3TTRNAAGX5B35&keywords=aero+precision&qid=1568636515&sprefix=aero+pr%2Caps%2C177&sr=8-9
The OP mentioned a scout mounted scope, which is usually put on rifles like this. Not good for ARs since you'd have to put it on the handguard which moves independent of the barrel/receiver (unless they are monolithic). Pick up one of the 1-4x options (Cross fire II is a good price) and an Aero SPR mount.
I think for $105 through Amazon the streamlight rail mount 2 is a better deal, comes with a built in pressure switch and its 625 lumens

I think u/ChadPoland is right. It looks like the Field Sports other version that has both Green and Red. Thats why some of the photos the numbers are green and other photo they are red.

There are lots of factories in China that you can order from and they will put your company name on it.
If I remember correctly Primary arms works with one to make theirs at a higher standard / better features (emitter placement for example).
I seriously doubt this is actually a Primary Arms.
How much is shipping from Palmetto? Amazon has it for $74.89 with Prime, $54.89 after rebate.

I don't think I'll ever lose money, or too much money on this deal. It's a $750+ optic new. You get it for $300+ less here. The aimpoint pro is probably well worth the price at $400+, but why wouldn't I go with one of these over that?

Here is a picture of it with this bushnell.. I dont have a rail on my AR yet sorry.

The mount feels very durable so far I can't wait to use it.
I don't get why the other guy delete his post. I basically lost my shopping list. So I guess I'll ask you, any torque wrench I need? Also would roll pin set like https://www.amazon.com/Grip-Roll-Pin-Punch-Gunsmithing/dp/B003L7HOMG those be all I need?
Edit: Those roll pins seem bad quality. Could you direct me to some better ones?
Amazon just had a sale on the [Plano 42"](http://www.Plano.com/ 108421 Gun Guard AW Tactical Case 42-Inch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0029KDHRM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_NR4fAbR5GW1Z2)

The scope will not come with a rail, but your 10/22 may have. Check your box for one in a plastic bag with mounting screws. If not, you can buy a cheap rail here.
I pulled the trigger. I've been watching prices on ebay and amazon and this look like a sick deal.

For those of you saying Amazon... Primeday is a scam. They were $143.54 as of July 1. They raised the price back up for Prime Day, the 20% off is ~the same price pre-Prime Day.

For the difference in price I'd go with the Aero ultralight mount. $75 all day for around half the weight. 3 oz isn't a lot but the ounces really add up when they're stacked awkwardly on the top of your gun.
