I poured a layer of woodland scenics realistic water about 1/8” thick and then painted it with some Tamiya clear acrylic paint! The poured resin is flexible after it dries so it was super easy to cut and shape into a wave. I added a wire underneath for extra support.
I’m actually planning on doing some lava just like this for Anakin too! Pretty excited to get started on it

If you're interested, look up UV protection film (something like this)
One roll will probably last you forever, and it protects your figures/etc from sun damage for the most part. You could put some on your window, as well as on the detolf itself. =)
