I mean I get it, people are stupid, and you can't stop them from funneling mcdonalds and soda into their gullets all day. I'm sure some have an idea, but doctors don't even know what to tell people to eat, they are only required to take like what, 3 hours of nutrition in order to get their degree? if that. If preventative medicine works, maybe that should be the focus. My dad had a quadruple bypass and the doctors never asked what or how he ate. I'm not saying all disease would be helped by eating clean, but IBS/gut issues, heart disease/stroke, diabetes, some cancers (prostate/colon/breast etc) certainly would be. Maybe all these mysterious autoimmune illnesses are based on common environmental factors and connected to diet, at least that's the premise of this woman (doctor) https://www.amazon.com/Immune-System-Recovery-Plan-Autoimmune/dp/1451694970
Anyways, I think we probably agree on most stuff, just get a little triggered about this topic sometimes, so my bad for that. I know you guys do the best you can, and in the end science/medicine figures it out, although sometime it might take a while. Cheers
Things like the Dead Sea Scrolls and other letters written by certain apostles are maintained and are actual original documents or 1 step copies of originals Written around 70-80AD.

Some things we teach to our kids in school however about even more recent figures like Genghis Khan or Roman Empire figures come from several time removed copies or even just hearsay from word of mouth passed down over time which were recorded hundreds of years after their occurrences. There are some extremely smart people out there who are even more skeptical than yourself (maybe) who spent their life's work to uncover truth to historical evidence of the bible and many of them find really sound evidence that what is in the bible have many reputable sources. Just my two cents!

EDIT: And I am willing to be downvoted for what I said above, and its just opinion again I am not tryign to convert people here.

I really encourage you to read the book Night by Ellie Wiesel. I think everyone should have to read this in school growing up, we covered it in 7th grade and I still remember the impact it had on me. It’s the autobiographical story of Elie, who was a young Jewish teen when the holocaust happened, and what he experienced in the Auschwitz and Buchenwald concentration camps.
No I am a mental health provider with a graduate degree and often like reading relationship dynamic books. This information is in Dr Patricia Love and Dr Steven Stosny book how to improve you marriage without talking about it. . No need to make bullshit assumptions.

I don't understand, you outline the theory in detail, then claim it's not mainstream? What point are you trying to make?
Check this book out, it's the book version of your comment

Razors are not the same. They’re shaving different parts of the body and they’re built differently because of it. They’re not even that differently priced. Both of these are a dollar different (and they still have cheaper options available):
Mens
women’s
Not to mention, you can literally see that they are different by looking at the razor heads.
I never get this whole thing where people act like the pink tax is some huge surprise that is just completely unjust. Do you think woman are stupid? We know our stuff is more expensive, if they were the same we would just buy the men’s version. We don’t because they’re not the same. In fact there are woman who do. Just like there’s woman who buy cheaper stuff that isn’t gendered or the cheaper women’s options. There’s also men who buy female shampoos and soaps because they think it works better.
Woman definitely have it more expensive when it comes to buying hygiene related things but it’s because we have different needs.
Edit: also the idea that women having to pay more somehow means men should pay for their food is kind of insulting. I can handle my own finances thank you. If I need to buy cheaper stuff or not go out to eat as often I can do that on my own.

Also, the UK and France don't have more guns than people, or have guns fundamentally ingrained into their culture, also their violent crime rate stayed at roughly the same trajectory before and after the gun laws.
Naw, "toxic masculinity" is a buzzword made up by shitty sexists who think that the only way to express sadness is to "talk about it" and cry and that men are somehow damaged by preferring to process their emotions internally
Before you continue spouting your sexist, ignorant rhetoric I recommend you read the book "Crying: The Mystery of Tears" by Dr William H Frey II---The guy responsible for discovering that there are emotional and antibiotic tears (and it's a damn shame that article isn't freely available on the internet... without sailing the high seas, of course))
It's totally not that humans are sexually dimorphic in behavior and physiology.
And it's totally not like secretion of tears is regulated by prolactin, the same chemical responsible for growing breast tissue and stimulating milk secretion (among many other secretions)
And it's totally not like prolactin levels vary wildly based on age, gender, and BMI, with healthy women secreting more prolactin than men under many, many circumstances
And it's totally not like abnormal prolactin levels have a wide variety of negative effects on men's overall health and sexual health
And it's not like elevated prolactin levels (a common side effect of antipsychotics) causes impaired cognition in male psychosis patients---but not in female psychosis patients.
And it's totally not like opthalmologists have found extensive sexual dimorphism in the tear ducts of mice (you know, the creatures that are staples in research thanks to having similar genetic, biological, and behavioral characteristics to humans) and that castrating a male mouse will result in his tear ducts becoming identical to those of female mice
No, no no, it's totally not that men and women have different physiologies and different emotional needs---That's the
illuminati"patriarchy" conditioning them to be emotionlessly violent rapebeasts.> I have heard it is common even for swat and infantry to choke up during their first time in a real life scenario.
You have heard correctly, and its usually a combination of training failure and that person's morality, at least insofar as the United States military is concerned. As far as SWAT goes, I have no knowledge of police training, so I can't speak to that.
Just as recently as World War II, only 15-25% of soldiers were willing to fire their rifles, although nowadays that number is over 90%, as the military has learned how to train people to kill.
Lt. Col. Dave Grossman wrote a fantastic book on this subject, entitled On Killing: The Psychological Cost of Learning to Kill in War and Society - https://www.amazon.com/Killing-Psychological-Cost-Learning-Society/dp/0316330000/
Its worth a read if you're interested in the subject.
