I bought a couple 100 packs for around $10 total. They're definitely worth it

Off the shelf cables, typically not solid, I don’t think so.... there may be some confusion here between solid and stranded.

strip the jacket, then strip the individual conductor. There should be several strands inside the 22awg wire.

Yea, I’m sure your custom cables are solid core - it’s the box-o-wire you can pickup at home depot or Lowe’s. You could just as easily buy the stranded cable in bulk

Actually, that's the most useful book here, most of the content would be still relevant.

And they still have dinosaurs on the cover of the current edition. It's a widely used book.

USB to VGA external display adapters do exist although I can't vouch for how well they work as I've never used one.

What I did was look at today's deals in the outlet. Then I chose computers and stuff, then sorted by most expensive.

If you make the purchase, let me know if it's worth it.

At least the customer knew what he was talking about. I thought he was asking for one of these at first. Either way, why would someone want only a 2 GiB stick?

Isn't this one of those devices that turns the electrical wiring into an ethernet connection?

I have this book hanging on my office wall. No lie.

"Mommy, why is there a server in the house?"

You can set up your own damn equipment.
