I just stick magnetic plate with an adhesive strip on the back of the iphone 7 battery case and it works like a charm! Trust me any other car mount will have trouble trying to hold it and will fall off, i've already tried this.

I've done several iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S screens from iCracked (Amazon link for the iPhone 5 screen here).

It comes complete with tools needed, you need to be patient though and it is easier after the first time. The YouTube videos they have were really helpful, being able to step through the process.

You need this, this, and optionally this. Go over all the instructions beforehand, watch a few different videos so you're somewhat familiar with what goes where, do it in a clean, well-lit environment with a good place to keep the screws, and don't rush it. It's honestly not difficult at all.

Oh, and you might wanna wear latex gloves or something, to keep any oils on your skin from getting onto the internals of the phone. Getting some of the metal areas dirty can effect your reception, or so I've heard.

This is what I have.

I actually ran the USB-C power cable behind my dashboard and into a USB jack that is directly wire into the fuse box with a fuse tap. It makes it look really clean.

No not at all. I haven't a clue what that picture is showing you but it's definitely NOT for an iPhone. I don't know which iPhone you have but here is an AT&T iPhone 4 home button + flex cable

I ordered this replacement:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G3R4ZNQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It arrived today and I followed a very good video to perform the swap. I didn't have any issues with the install and everything went back to its right place (as far as I can tell). I let my phone sit uncharged for the past week to guarantee the battery was dead. After the swap I plugged it in and I heard it vibrate. The screen remained dark. After a bit I could hear it begin to receive a week's worth of text messages but still just black. I believe power is getting to the screen because in a dark room I can see the faintest glow coming from the screen.

So my thought at this point is the LCD was never my original problem and if I reattached the old screen I would still get texts and it too would put out a faint glow.

What else could my issue be? I'll say that I work in a woodshop and when I opened the phone it was dirty with fine sawdust. I gave it a quick clean with air and dry wipes but I probably didn't get much.

Well I just ordered this one and installed it last night.

It's working good so far. No lag for input and the image appears clear. It's probably not up to OEM grade, but for the price, it works for me. I ordered from the seller Replacement Accessory

They sell things like this (I am by no means vouching for the specific one, just the general idea).

$34.47 from Amazon. But this is for the iPhone 4, I have no idea if it works for the 4S.

Unfortunately I basically destroyed the old battery trying to get it out. The connector is no longer attached. I do not believe I damaged any other part of the phone trying to get the battery out though. But if I did, what part of the phone would most likely be broken to get this problem? Just where the battery connects to the phone? (Sorry if my wording is bad.)

I think I will just contact the company, and see if I can get a different battery.
