The handlebars are ~36cm (14.17 inches) wide. The bar height is like 91cm (35.8 inches), the deck height is like 7.5 cm (3 inches), deck length is 12 cm (4.7 inches). I'm not too sure how to measure this, but the usable space on the deck seems to be about 35 cm (13.78 inches). My measuring tape I got from europe and only has centimeters, so approximated when converting.

I doubt the bearings are good, as it was only $40, the wheels are 200 cm allegedly, and all that jazz.

I also see this one online: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F9JNH92/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-VsNDb17JFPWF

I like that it has shocks, but will that make any real difference? I mainly want something which will maximize the efficiency per kick, not rattle and shake on less smooth asphalt, is big enough for a 5'10" and 145 lb guy.

What I like about the hudora 205 is the price and look, and that it seems easy to carry with the strap. The Hikole looks great because of the shocks and better bearings. The razor a6 looks nice because I know the brand, and it seems bigger. What do you think?

With your son riding a bike, your office + shuttle having space for bikes and the parks not having flat surfaces, have you considered going with a bike?

----

Right now, it sounds like a kick bike for you. There's a distributor in San Diego if interested.

And I think you're right, hurric9. I couldn't find the Micro Downtown on the US website. Well, at least at the date of this posting, the Micro Downtown has gone poof!

-----------------

If considering a polyurethane wheeled kick scooter, this looks like a candidate with wide handlebars, like the Downtown. It looks like a good price, once they come into stock.

---------------

If considering the A5 DLX, Also consider the A6. It's got a nice low deck height, like the A5 DLX.

-----------------

As far as your parks and sidewalks not having perfect/flat surfaces, if they are mere cracks and get bumpy, a simple quick lift of the front end or just walking your scooter through the rough area will do.
