I am going to assume you were genuinely trying to be helpful, but it's hard to tell because you did not actually say anything except for post a link. There are a few things about this link:

  1. It assumes she does not know about the existence of the print screen key.
  2. It assumes all keyboards have a print screen key. Fun fact: They don't. Example: https://www.amazon.com/SR-Keyboard-Multimedia-Computer-Laptop/dp/B01IQL2VCE
  3. This doesn't say what she should do AFTER hitting the print screen key.
  4. The link doesn't help her with what she asked about, which is the most important part here, IMO.

If you wanted to be helpful (which, why wouldn't you want to be helpful here?), you could have said something like this instead:

    > "Oh, that looks like the Steed of Gloaming Autumn. Look for it at the next harvest festival! They also have a caparison for it, which is what you are after. Looks like this was introduced in Harvest Festival 2016. Based on previous festivals, this one should still be available for fall festival tokens at a discounted price. They usually have the previous year's steeds still available for tokens, but beyond that you would need mithril coins. Make sure to remember to get it for Harvest Festival 2017! Should be toward the end of October. :)

    > By the way, I know it's not a big deal because I was able to understand what you wanted, but you could actually take a screenshot if you wanted to in the future. If not, that's cool too. So, you may be already be aware of this, but in case you aren't:

    >As long as you didn't change the key-binds, you could hit the print screen key, F11, or even ctrl+p keys to take a screenshot. They will automatically be saved to your hard drive. You could find them in My Documents/Lord of the Rings Online. If you wanted, you could also turn off the UI by hitting F12 first and turning off floaty names by hitting N. You could get some nice shots this way, try it out! :)

    > I found this which goes into even more detail about getting a great shot if you were interested: https://lotrostylist.wordpress.com/how-to-take-a-great-screenshot/

    > Anyway, hope that helps! Safe travels!"

Of course, if you were not trying to be helpful, then you could ignore everything I just said. :)

Just spend money on the game.

You say you've been playing for SIX MONTHS but don't think you can justify spending money on it? To me, it sounds like it's time for you to support Turbine's business model and spend a little $$ on something you've been enjoying since last fall.

You can buy 1600 points for $20. That is enough points to buy 2.5 more zones outright. The Deeds from those zones should give you enough TP to keep going for a bit.

Turbine's F2P business model is actually a lot FRIENDLIER for players like you, that play at a very slow, casual pace. You can spend $20 and gain access to 2-3 zones, to last you several months. Whereas in a subscription MMO, you pay $15 a month, whether you play every night, or play once a week.

ALTERNATIVES:

  1. Free to play players get one character slot per server. So you could make a new character on a new server, to grind out more TP from the free zones of Bree, Shire, Lone Lands, and Ered Luin. But be warned: Although this is a great way to avoid ever giving Turbine money, the deed TP works out to about $0.50/per hour played.

  2. Find a BOXED copy of the Mines of Moria expansion. Amazon has them for $25, and they can be found for $10 elsewhere if you're lucky. http://www.amazon.com/Lord-Rings-Mines-Moria-Pc/dp/B001FS7FE0

This will give you permanent access to all the Moria expansion content (more character slots, the level 50-60 moria zones, classes, etc.). But more importantly, it includes one month of VIP access free. So for one month, you can access all the zones in the game, as if you were a subscriber. VIP access will also permanently remove some of the limitations on your character. No more limited bag space, gold cap, locked virtue slots, etc.

So you could spend your VIP month playing at your leisure to get closer to 50. Then at 50, do the Moria content you would now own.

As I play, I like to look up every name I come acress to see if it is canonical. Or, at least find out what it means. For example, there's a Malledhrim by the name of Goldagnir (http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Goldagnir). The word "dagnir" means bane, so, this person is the bane of Gol. Which makes me start thinking about who Gol is, or what it pertains to.

Just yesterday I was playing through the Enedwaith quests, and came across "The Huntsmen". He spoke of his Lord from the uttermost West, which is clearly Orome. Which makes this particular entity a Maiar, or at least that was my assumption. The game can't say that, since SSG doesn't have the rights to the Silmarillion, but they can certainly allude to the fact. The lotRo wiki agrees with me, as they have the race listed as Maia: https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/The_Huntsman_(NPC)

I also follow along with the Tolkien Companion (https://smile.amazon.com/Complete-Tolkien-Companion-J-Tyler/dp/1250023556/) and the Atlas of Middle Earth (https://smile.amazon.com/Atlas-Middle-Earth-Revised-Karen-Fonstad/dp/0618126996/). Lots of interesting information from those source that makes me see things in the game world I might otherwise disregard.

Those are common suffixes and prefixes. Nothing in that rule saying there aren't other suffixes or prefixes, or that some common suffixes can be uncommon prefixes and vice versa. Don't read too much into this.

Unless you have a desire to be super strict about naming conventions, just do something that sounds about right. My Rohirrim Cappie has the name of "Eorsplittr Addldottr". If, on the other hand, you wish to be absolutely faithful to the lore, grab a copy of Ruth Noel's "The Languages of Middle-Earth". (Crazy prices for new copies, but cheap for used).

I ordered the Mines of Moria 60 day timecard and my friend (in L.A.) got it one or two days later.

Make sure to check this link if you have any difficulty activating it: http://support.turbine.com/link/portal/24001/24001/Article/123/What-are-the-accepted-payment-methods-for-a-VIP-subscription

You know what, no. You have attacked me perosnally already and this is no longer a discussion. Now you are simply picking small parts of what I said to attack me more. For the record, I'll link what I read below, but I really don't care what you think about me or the book. Your attitude is not nice and you of all people should know better than to be rude or hateful to others. You shame the LGBT+ community with your hatred for others.

Even if how I live isn't exactly the way you practice your religion, it's still a fact that by allowing others to control how you feel impacts you negatively. I think we could all benefit from learning how to control our own thoughts and feelings. We can't control what other people do and we're never going to live in a perfect world free of hatred.

So you can keep saying "woe is me... Bullies online and in my video games" and you can distance yourself from everyone except the LGBT+ community, but this is a temporary solution.

In my opinion you let them win when you allow their words to influence your thoughts, emotions, and decisions.

The book I read:
