Sunblock! Sunblock! Sunblock! The #1 most important thing! Try an all physical sunblock, like this one. This is all in my experience (and my mom's), but a good sunblock is vital. Make sure to reapply it once you've been out in the sun for 2 hours. Because it's a physical sunscreen, it takes awhile to blend in. You have to use 1/4 tsp for your whole face, or at the very least make sure to coat the rash well. Good luck!
Found it! Apparently she actually ordered it online, but it's called Medline Remedy with Olivamine Skin Repair Cream. The people of Amazon agree with me that it's delightful... nearly 5 stars. :)
