I bought the foamcore sheet at Hobby Lobby. They have both black and white. I usually pin the pieces together for most of the sections to make sure they stay in place while drying. I then will leave the pins in the main shell of the box because you won't see them anyways since that stays in the box at all times. The other pins I remove once everything has dried enough to stay together.
As far as glue, I always use Elmer's standard glue. It holds great, it's cheap and really doesn't need to be anything better than that. You don't need much either which was something I struggled with early on. Just a little bead down the edge is just fine. Don't use super glue! I was in a pinch and we were snowed in and I tried using it and it ate away some of the foam so I just decided not to use it and wait until I could get the proper glue.
Lastly, getting the straight edges isn't tough you just need to right tools. Having a cutting mat, a knife like this that you can break off the ends to keep it sharp, and a metal metric ruler is really what you need to get good results. If you do go to Hobby Lobby by chance for any of this, remember they always have a 40% off coupon on their website you can use towards one item. I used this on the cutting surface since it was the most expensive item and you just need to mention which item you would like to use it on.
pffft, after sleeving I can barely fit everything in the box if I use dividers with that insert and separate everything out. Not sure why everyone was excited because they "finally made a decent insert". For an LCG, LOL. It's as pointless as buying a one bedroom house before having triplets. And fostering several dogs. While your brother moves in. And you bought a pony.
Gonna go the same route I did for Lord of the Rings: A binder for each aspect and then card boxes for heroes and villains.

[edit] y’all can downvote all you want. The number one most useless thing to a living card game is what kind of insert came in the base box. Its pointless
Lord of the rings. Box is unsleeved. One binder per sphere for sleeved player cards, three cards per insert pouch. Releases werent once per month.

But goddamn that base box ditch insert sucked.
Netrunner complete collection sleeved.

Had same stupid base box ditch insert. I almost care at this point.
But yeah, that marvel champions insert is totally awesome. You guys have convinced me.
The proper size for FFG LCGs should be the 63.5x88mm sleeves:
From sleevekings.com
From Amazon
They seem to fit great, and I haven't noticed any production issues in the 5 packs I bought. Just ordered 10 more to make sure I have enough for a while.
Business card stands are also super cheap and do a similar function

These are the ones I bought. It's like it was made for this game haha
The scheme cards will be bigger, but(not bigger, i was misremembering) for the most part everything is going to be standard tcg, 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (63.5 x 88 MM). Most sleeves you buy off the shelf at your LGS will be sufficient, just make sure youre not buying yu-gi-oh sized sleeves, theyre smaller and wont fit the cards.I plan on sleeving all my villain cards permanently, in black dragonshields. My hero cards ill keep in a binder organized by release order. I find it easier to deck build out of a binder, but thats much less relevant for villains. As for storage of the sleeved cards, ill keep them in a BCW box such as this, probably with dividers for specific villain cards. There doesnt seem to be any word on official storage solutions, but theres usually plenty of room in the box for most LCGs that FFG produces if youre not into buying a BCW box.
