It's nearly thirty bucks on Amazon, but maybe the Cora cup? The body is soft (except for the base where the stem attaches, which is helpful if you need to push the cup up further once it pops open) so it feels comfortable, but the rim is firmer so it wants to pop open. You get the best of both worlds, essentially.

Closer to your price range, but still a good soft cup, is the Lena sensitive. It's about $25 on Amazon.

If budget is your main motivator and you're willing to struggle for a bit to get used to it, the Lily Cup compact (in size A, the smaller size) is now about $16 on Amazon. The silicone is really nice, but because it's a collapsible cup, it can be challenging to position.

The only time I had leakage with cloth pads was in the first two months learning what size I needed for my flows. Other than that I love them! I have loads of recommendations.

Pink Daisy by Blueberry Diapers

I use the ones biggest ones on my heavy days and overnight. Never had a problem with leaking.

Charlie Banana
These are super soft.

This type does a good job if you are worried about smells.

Just be sure to wash them before you use them. Otherwise they won’t absorb the way they were designed.

If you have any questions about how to wash them let me know. I’ve been using cloth pads for over 10 years now and love them.

You can search in amazon for some cloth pads as well. I just have the issue of one bad buy. The pads were made with very wide wings so the bad spins around in my underwear. I can send you a link of those ones so you can see how their are designed so as to avoid buy that shape. Otherwise if I double check the shape of the pads before buying I haven’t had any problems.

Etsy can also be a good place to buy some as well.

Hi!

Some excellent suggestions here so far, I really hope we can help you sort this out.

The Lunette is not a soft cup at all, and isn't designed for a low cervix. The softest cup I know of that should work for a low cervix is the small Sckoon cup. 40mm long, very very soft and a comfortable shape. You'll want to cut off the stem completely, then make sure the rim of the cup is sitting around your cervix when it's inserted (that helps to keep it securely in place and also makes it sit up a bit higher.)

For the popping open problem you might need to try a different fold. The 7-fold is probably the easiest option in this situation - fold the edge down further than the video shows so it's almost touching the stem, and you'll be able to keep a grip on it until it's completely inserted.

If you're changing pads every hour the cup will still need to be emptied every ~3 hours (and seriously, that's called menorrhagia, please speak to a doctor and also have your iron levels tested) but that doesn't need to be a complicated thing. Empty it into the toilet, wipe it out, pop it back in. Wash it at least once a day, ideally when showering.

Happy to answer questions, and if you find that resources are misgendering you please do send me a message. I can send photos/videos/information as needed.

I had similar concerns when ordering my first one. I didn’t want to waste $40+ on something that might not work for me. I decided on the Pixie cup. From amazon (link below) and not too much more than the one you were thinking of. It comes with wipes and a cloth storage bag. I just used it this past cycle for the full cycle (only used it briefly prior as I was getting used to it) and it has honestly changed my life. People mention having to buy multiple until you find your “Goldilocks” cup but this was it for me. Beginners luck? Who knows- but I highly recommend! Plus every time you purchase one, one is donated.

My first cup was a Sckoon (the smallest) which was great to start with, however there were a few problems. Sckoon is one of the softest cups and I had a difficult time getting it to open properly most days (great for my lighter days though).

I purchased the Yuuki off of Amazon and it came with 2 sizes and was only $25. It shipped from Russia but arrived quickly and is a much firmer silicon so it opens more easily.

Because it's relatively cheaper (2 for the price of 1) you may consider the Yuuki so you could test out both sizes.

I have a very heavy period days 2-4 and find that I typically only have to empty every 4-5 hours vs. 2-3 with the Sckoon. For me I felt like it was a better investment to try to find my goldilocks cup,

Good luck!

I had real issues getting any but the firmest cups to work with my body. I really like my current everyday cup, the Yuuki. Amazon sells two packs of the Yuuki brand that comes with both of their firmness levels (a high-medium firm call 'soft', and very firm called 'classic '). Here's a link to both the small size & large size.

I would also recommend taking a quiz to see what is recommended for you. I like this one - https://menstrualcupreviews.net/quiz/
There is a quiz on the PACII website, but be warned they usually recommend the Saalt brand they helped develop - https://putacupinit.com/quiz/

I found it on Amazon UK too, maybe that would be cheaper shipping wise? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Irisana-Iriscup-Menstrual-Cup-transparent/dp/B00CMNGFS4

Also I found the US site (which makes sense since I'm in the US) but the buy button takes me to a site in a different language and the price is in Euros. Maybe that might work better for you? https://irisana.com/categorias/514-copa-menstrual-iriscup-l-rosa-8463721302402.html

Anyway, hopefully whatever you decide to replace it with works out!

Amazon has many good options! If you tell us a bit more about your anatomy and needs we can make better recommendations. Here are the well known FDA approved brands under $40 on Amazon:
Diva
Lena
SuperJennie

There are a few more but these are some of the favorite brands that you can find lots of reviews and info for.

The original Lily Cup or the new Lily Cup One for beginners ? I have never managed to get a seal at all with the original ergonomically shaped Lily Cup so I gave up on it. Haven’t had the chance to use my new Lily Cup One yet as my periods are often three months apart. Sorry I can’t be more helpful!

What about the gloves the stylists use when dying hair? I am pretty sure those are latex but reusable.

edit: Something like these maybe

u/rockababeangelmouse · 1 pointr/menstrualcups

You might want a cup that holds a larger capacity. The XL Merula cup has a a 50ml capacity which is like 20-30mls more than the diva cup. If the shape seems intimidating or you want something cheaper there's the Super Jennie cup which I think holds like 40mls?

Hope this helps :)

Looks like a Lena cup.

I bought clean cup, which is listed as Amazon's choice. It smells nice. It's not great for travel because it leaks.

Might try Blossom Cup ! It’s the one I use. It’s very soft and the small is a good size. I used it both as a virgin and while sexually active and didn’t notice a difference. The packaging is pink but I don’t think it references pronouns. It also comes in any number of colors. Mine is black and I’ve had it for a few years.

u/tinarob93 · 5 pointsr/menstrualcups

I've had that sort of problem when I woke up, but after I was up a while, the cup shifted down a bit.

Tongs didn't work? Do you have a friend with bigger hands that might go that extra mile?

Look up forceps.

A friend of mine introduced me to the Femmy cycle cup after numerous failed attempts I had with other cups... leaking, discomfort, etc

She has a low cervix,
( or inverted something.. idk, but her vagina is weird. ......she is more like an acquaintance actually so we didnt really get that deep into a discussion about her vag)
She said that the femmy cup not only accommodates a low cervix, but also has this amazing “lid” that basically prevents leaking.

i was skeptical at first... But after using it the first time and NOT ruining any garments i have to say: this is the BMW of cups.
