I think Anker is one of the best as far as cables an chargers go. I don't use a braided cable, but these look good.

You can use any Micro USB cable/car charger to charge your phone, but I'd recommend getting something like this to take advantage of the phone's quick charge capabilities. I have one in the car and it's great.

It isn't the one we bought, this one has only has 2gb ram and 32gb of storage which I have heard sort of under performs.

We got the one with 4gb ram and 64gb storage which seems to only be available used

I went from an N5 to iPhone 6 and am now on G5+. I don't miss the notification light at all. Compass is more accurate on the G5 than the other two devices. Only slightly larger, almost can't tell in my hand. The battery on the G5 is the killer feature for me. I can go 2 days without a charge and QuickCharge works well.

I recommend this case for the G5. Slim, light, and just enough grip.

I do miss my fast updates with Nexus. G5 OTAs are very slow to roll to my phone on Verizon.

I am on Tmobile and switched from the G5 Plus to the X4 Android One edition.

I got it for $359 a month ago on sale. I assume coming up later this month it will drop in price again.

It is faster than the g6 and is a part of the Android One program so it will get Android updates sooner than everything else.

Will that keep it from bending in pocket? It seems to be a soft flexible case. The Moto G5 plus badly failed jerryrigeverythings bend test and I've bent a galaxy note 3 in my pocket enough to crack the screen so I'm not too confident about the Moto G5 plus without a good case. For reference the note 3 has been one of the best phones as far as bendabilitybir lack thereof goes.
