I'm guessing '98-02 Corolla. Not 100%.
The dome light in the back looks like the one from a Toyota Corolla.

Picture # 2 looks like the parking brake area of a Corolla.
You'll have to zoom in, but you'll notice they look similar. Black slit next to a thin rectangular-ish hole. Also note how it's located by the passenger's side, similar to the one in the photo:

The center console storage looks opened in picture #2.
I can't seem to match the door panel or rear seat 100% though. Whatever it is, it looks like some sort of Japanese car from the early 2000's, 90's.
I was going to agree with the Jag S Type but the image is a 2 door. I was then drawn to the Mercedes SLR but the image doesn't have the grills in the right places.

Edit1:
Just realised these are Micromachines (takes me back).
I've worked out it's a Lexus SC400, it's this specific model.

I will also say that the car looks nothing like the toy.

I probably have one of these in the Micromachines collection at my parents house.
It came as part of this set

Cheapest I've managed to find the whole box. I'm sure there are single cars you can get.
The photo caption is odd. I think $10k is too much for whatever this is and $1k is too little. Do you know where Thomas lived or any other details or clues?
With nothing else to go on, I'd put this right around 1910-1913. My best guesses would be...
1911 Babcock Model H
1911 Mercer Model 30
Hahaha... no. Who would be so stupid to think that's a gas filler accessory? FYI, it is a hitch, not a tow bar.
In any case, the hitch would not be a gas filler accessory, as the gas filler is in the left quarter panel, not under the license plate. Take a look. See what I'm talking about now?
