It depends on your preference. I love tempered glass but I went through a lot of screen protectors o find one that worked out well for the nexus 6 (the curved glass creates a problem)

I personally love the Jelly Comb it's been revised and fits on my device perfect. There's no "halo-effect" if you put it on right the first time but because I had to take mine off I did create one when re-applying it.

In terms of cases I bought a few and found that I like one that covers the whole phone and doesn't leave a cut-out for the motorola Logo.

I'm currently rocking a Rinke Max case and I love the way it shows off the nexus logo while still protecting it.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions. :)

These are my favorites.

Spigen bumper case, gunmetal grey one I bought but others. I'm a huge fan of the nexus back so the clear really is cool. Just minimal protection tho, I wouldn't get crazy with it.

Unicorn beetle case, very very good protection, very study. Pain to get off tho imo if you like to switch a lot like me but still a great case. Few to choose from.

I'm not one of those people who go caseless. It needs a case at all times.. So I go with clear if possible because I love seeing the nexus lettering.

I was thinking of ordering the same Ringke slim crystal case for my Nexus 6. I am using the clear case mate one atm, same one google is selling. I like the kickstand but the phone is way to slippery and I need a case with more grip. I am set on buying one of these Ringke slim cases or the Rinke MAX cases. From the reviews of the slim cases I have read and seen on XDA they are still pretty slippery except for the Ringke (SF Black) which is the only one that has a different texture with alot more grip. As others have said in the comments I think the corner slits will gather lint pretty well.
The Ringke (MAX) has more grip and looks to add more protection with it's dual layered design. It also has dust caps and the back it supposed to be more rigid with a rear guard to keep the back from touching any surface. I am hoping that this makes the back more flat when laying on a solid surface.
I am going to be ordering the Ringke MAX gunmetal(In stock Dec 11th) and the slim clear tomorrow. I am probably going for a carbon dbrand skin also.....
I will post pictures with a little review on reddit! when I get my hands on them both.

Note also Rearthusa is still having their Cyber Monday sale, use coupon code UMQKLJ2K for 30% off orders of $20 or more on amazon.com through 12/2/2014 11:59 pst.

Same issue here, albeit a different brand. I ordered a Yootech screen protector on Amazon that seems to stay clear of both the front facing camera and proximity sensor. Should arrive tomorrow afternoon; I will post an update here as soon as I install it.

EDIT:
Happy to confirm the YooTech Screen Protector I purchased on Amazon works flawlessly. Doesn't cover the proximity sensor at all and the screen behaves as it should during calls. The only con I can say about it is the screen protector seems to be the exact size of the screen width wise. Even with a steady hand, it took me 2 reapplications to get it just right. Patience and a clean dust/hair/lint free environment is key.

u/FlightOfTheMasterb8r · 1 pointr/nexus6

I just got the Moko case in the mail yesterday. It's pretty solid. Doesn't look like it costs $7 at all, more like $20-$25. The kick stand is sturdy. Grip is pretty grippy. Very easy to feel the raised power/volume buttons as well, better than stock imo. The case has a sporty look to it, if you're into that kind of thing. I like it, it's pretty manly looking. Feels like it could withstand a drop or two.

u/Chorazin · 3 pointsr/nexus6

I have this one and I love it. The material is grippy in my hand, seems pretty high quality and males the phone feel better in my hand. And it's cheap!

Nexus 6 Case, Spigen® [Air Cushioned Bumper] Nexus 6 Case Bumper **... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OH4I2LY/

u/biascoblix · 2 pointsr/nexus6

Definitely a better choice, but it's double the price... We're talking about 500$ vs 250$... The difference between the 6P and the 6 are surely noticeable..

The SD810 is significantly faster compared the 6, but Throttling is still present..
You're getting a better overall camera experience although you're losing OIS
and if wireless charging is important for you, There's no wireless charging in the 6P..

Amazon is occasionally selling the Nexus 6 for 250$ and 300$ for 32GB, 64GB.. But these deals are really quick, for example, It was on like 2 days ago for a few hours and then gone... So, Always keep a close look on Amazon if the deal comes back or you can always buy from Swappa or eBay, You can get a used one in a mint condition for the same price...

EDIT : Seems like the deal is still there, but only for the 32GB, The 64GB is gone..

I use this wireless charger by Spigen and it's awesome. Especially since I use it on my nightstand overnight. The light is red when in standby, blue when it's charging, and off when the phone is on it but the battery is full. It's a dim light, unlike the Choe charger which lit up the whole room. It's great, honestly.

I really like the Ringke Slim case. I ended up with a blue Nexus 6, which I don't really like (but it was all at&t had), and this case is slim and covers all the sides.

u/LaGrrrande · 1 pointr/nexus6

From what I can tell, the Slim armor has a soft TPU case around the entire phone along with a hard plastic backing covering most of it, the Neo Hybrid has the TPU covering, but a hard plastic bumper that doesn't cover the back of the phone. Now the Ultra Hybrid has soft TPU bumpers around the corners and a clear hard plastic back to it. I have an Ultra Hybrid, a Slim Armor, and a Ringke Max (Comparable to the Slim Armor, only it has a textured plastic back and no kickstand. I'll probably roll with the Ultra Hybrid most of the time so that I can show off the spiffy dbrand white carbon fiber back I've got ordered, and swap the Ringke Max or the Slim Armor for when I'm doing something a bit more prone to phone breakage like hiking or whatever. The product pages on Amazon for the Spigen cases have pretty good pictures of how they each break down, but they can definitely be confusing as to what the differences between each case are.

u/johnnyboi1994 · 1 pointr/nexus6

I have this, but i also went back to this. I think it's a softer field in the hand and not as noticable as the rugged one. plus it has a clear back that I want to use with a skin I purchased. you'd be happy with either.

u/birds_are_singing · 2 pointsr/nexus6

I use the Diztronic Ultra TPU.

Plain, matte black, keeps the dimple, very good corner protection. One piece, so taking it off and on repeatedly for VR hasn’t caused any problems. Only thing I didn’t like was that it was hard to tell the power from the volume by feel. Cut some ridges into the power button with a hobby knife and it’s perfect.

Only one big drop over the two years I’ve had the phone, and just by the sound (dull thud) I was pretty sure the phone would be fine, and it was. A nice feeling. When my phone dies it’ll have to be the NAND or USB port (I’m sure I can replace the battery).

u/Ramrawd · 1 pointr/nexus6

Just bought the Spigen Slim Armor

I've had one on my N5 forever now and it's really impressed me. Not too thick but still does a great job of protecting the phone. The kickstand on the N6 case is an added bonus too!

u/plankfurt · 1 pointr/nexus6

Anyone have any experience with these? I believe they make them for some other phones, but I cant find any reviews/videos. Thought it seemed interesting seeing that you can take the armband off and use it as a case.

I don't plan on using a case, but like to have one laying around. I figured it would be good enough to get the job done, and I can have an armband as well. Thoughts?

Im going to go with this if not.

u/GustoB · 2 pointsr/nexus6

That is also the one I'm rocking. I love it. It's stood up to dropping several times, and the kickstand comes in handy (although it's not quite up to par with the ahem Thunderbolt's that I used to have). The cutout for the M also helps make it easier to hold onto, and the blue one matches the N6 blue quite well unlike a lot of cases.

Jelly Comb glass screen protector. The original design was awful (like all other glass screen protectors), but Jelly Comb stepped up and not only revised the design, but sent buyers of the first iteration a free replacement. It's now perfect.

The original design covered the proximity sensor and caused some problems with the screen not wanting to turn back on after a phone call. The new design leaves the front facing camera and proximity sensor uncovered. This is a much better way to do it.

Guess it depends on where you need to mount it, but I've had great luck with one of these so far.

u/neverbetterthanlate · 2 pointsr/nexus6

Diztronic Ultra TPU is what I'm using. Pretty anonymous-black-slab, but it's better than something trying to be flashy IMO. Corner protection seems good, doesn't add too much bulk.

Edit: I am also using the Yootech tempered glass screen protector, and I don't really recommend it as it doesn't adhere at it's edges. Likely there is no glass screen protector that wouldn't have the same issue on my phone. A plastic screen protector would have been a better bet, although I guess I'm not bothered enough to replace mine.

u/murphnj · 1 pointr/nexus6

I just picked up one of these

I hope it fits right, wish me luck. :) I'll report back later in the week.

u/whodoyouthink · 15 pointsr/nexus6

IntelliGLASS PRO. It looks great, has excellent coverage, and has saved my screen several times over.

u/RustyKnives · 1 pointr/nexus6

I don't have a car one, but I use this charger:
http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Charger-Spigen%C2%AE-Charging-Premium/dp/B00UGIA0WY/

and this case:
http://www.amazon.com/i-Blason-Cell-Phone-Nexus-Google/dp/B00OGXQ3LC/

The wireless charging works great. Some of the pads I used in the past you have to position just right for it to work. However with this one I am using now, I just set it on there and it works. The phone does get pretty hot, but it charges fine. Keep in mind that it is slower than charging via cable.

You do need to use a 2A charger brick with it though. It needs that extra power.

u/willdenham · 2 pointsr/nexus6

If it's anything like the MoKo case: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E4RV8DS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's got a really, really flimsy TPU case part. I doubt it would protect much, even though it adds on a ton of bulk.

At that price, I think you'd be better off looking at the Rearth or Spigen cases (I love my Thin Armor).

u/Lyrrad0 · 2 pointsr/nexus6

Amazon.com also sells all North American versions. It's backordered, but they expect stock by February 10. Plus it's cheaper than Motorola and the Play store. All four models are $599.99.

Midnight Blue:

32GB (00632NARTL)

64GB (00636NARTL)

Cloud White:

32GB (00630NARTL)

64GB (00637NARTL)

While all the listings other than the 64GB Midnight Blue model don't specify their storage, you can look up the "Item model number" to confirm it's the correct one.

These are the official listings by Amazon, since they're listed as being shipped and sold by Amazon. I'd expect a price increase soon, at the very least on the 64GB models.

u/reddituser2006 · 1 pointr/nexus6

Screen Protector I bought. Seems to work well. The only pain with them is since the screen is slightly curved you have to put it on almost perfectly.
I have this case and it seems to have saved it from a few small falls, but I don't know that I would trust it at a construction site. I would look for something a little more heavy duty.

u/slidescream2013 · 0 pointsr/nexus6

As others are saying, not an official nexus charger. I recently picked up the Spiggen f300W nad have really liked it so far. Much cheaper than the TYLT, but still a good quality product from a well known company.

u/rayman3325 · 2 pointsr/nexus6

Yeah that was a probably a big factor of the shatter. It hit the bezel where the screen protector didn't cover I would assume. I am looking at this case now http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QVO0D4W/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2HOCXU5SC35JO or I am thinking about getting a sleeve. Etsy has some pretty nice ones.

u/MillBaher · 1 pointr/nexus6

I bought this one and found it to contour perfectly to the screen. It was actually really interesting applying it to the screen because you can just watch the air bubbles get pushed out by the weight of the glass.

u/brooksdbrewer · 1 pointr/nexus6

I just bought this one

http://www.amazon.com/Spigen%C2%AE-Perfect-Fit-Smooth-Premium-Finish/dp/B00OH4HLJ8/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1415135155&sr=8-6&keywords=nexus+6+case

I plan on pre-ordering the Nexus 6 tonight through AT&T, and hopefully they arrive around the same time. As far as screen protectors go... I would love a glass one. However, I've heard rumors that the screen house rounded edges similar to the Moto X 2014, making a glass screen protector almost unusable.

u/nipcarlover · 2 pointsr/nexus6

True, I'm gonna get the Slim armour and the Thin Fit. £8.98 for both is great deal IMO.

u/dcormier · 1 pointr/nexus6

I've been pretty happy with this, so far.

u/briangig · 2 pointsr/nexus6

Very suprised to see this recommended. I dont consider myself a dirty or greasy person, but the back of this case turned into an oil slick...looked nasty and got super slippery.

I use this one: http://www.amazon.com/Ringke-Essential-Protector-Scratch-Resistant-Protective/dp/B00PM5RJMK?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage and have been happy.

u/n80k · 1 pointr/nexus6

I love my spigen thin fit http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00OH4HLJ8. It adds very little bulk. However I'm starting to get paranoid about its lack of coverage on the top and bottom sides so I ordered this cell bee case yesterday http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00P1F0ATK . It has a hard clear back with tpu sides that looks very slim and it has nothing lower than 5 star reviews

u/Heironymus · 1 pointr/nexus6

I'm using the Supcase with an intelliGLASS tempered glass screen protector. I've dropped it a couple of times, most notable was off my bed which fell about 3 and a half feet to tile floor and it was perfectly fine. That fall even made the sound that most people don't want to hear, the one where it sounds like it really hit hard face down.

Here is the link to the tempered glass: http://www.amazon.com/Nexus-intelliGLASS-PRO-EDGE-TO-EDGE-intelliARMOR/dp/B00XIS7L9Y/ref=pd_rhf_se_s_cp_2?ie=UTF8&dpID=51Z-Xfee8KL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_SL500_SR135%2C135_&refRID=178C75G5GFFQ9HSQ20N7

u/jb7410 · 2 pointsr/nexus6

Honestly I just don't use cases that often. I get an emergency case for when I go out (I bought this one, super sleek: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OH4HLJ8?psc=1) but that's about it. To show off the back many people got this case http://www.amazon.com/Spigen%C2%AE-Cushioned-Gunmetal-Scratch-Resistant/dp/B00OH4I2LY# or any other clear case. Haven't seen many bumpers around but I'm sure more will come out soon.

u/VicParker · 1 pointr/nexus6

I purchased the MoKo Holster cover case for the belt clip/case combo.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E4RV8DS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

While I don't think it's a terrible case, it is certainly not a great case. Since it's the only case I have any experience with at the moment, I'm only posting this as a recommendation to avoid this one. The rubber is a bit too flimsy, the fit isn't perfect, and it's not as easy as I would like to get in and out of the holster.

On the plus side, it feels pretty rugged, it makes the back more or less flat for ease of use when setting on a flat surface, and the fact that it's not easy to get out of the holster means that it's not likely to fall out of the holster.

So there's that.

u/zdrouse · 5 pointsr/nexus6

Bought this case, crystal clear so I can still see the back of my N6, its slim and fits perfect - doesn't add weight or bulkiness.

u/Monte0704 · 1 pointr/nexus6

Bought it off Amazon... it was the Jelly Comb, but I recieved it and there is no mention of 'jelly comb' or anything like it on the package.

The fit is perfect. No halo effect, doesnt cover any sensors, nothing like that.

u/throw-a-weh · 1 pointr/nexus6

I have grabbed two cases. The Moko Kickstand case - 1.95 shipped with Amazon Prime. Perhaps not the greatest, but it is better than nothing. It is already available so I can get it before I get my phone. So if nothing else it should hold me over until I can get the case I really wanted. Only $2 wasted. Perhaps I will like it.

I also ordered the Ringke Slim case which I am unsure if it will make it here before my phone. I am thinking this is going to be my main case, slim, simple and I like that it has the dimple on the back. I also like that all the buttons and ports are open and easy to get to. I have had cases that didn't push the buttons properly, or had dust flaps for ports that just kind of annoyed me over time. Also, a free screen protector as well.

I don't like to spend a lot on a case, I am a simple guy. I am using it more for grip (LG G2 is very slippery out of a case for example) + not gunking the device up more than making my device into a bulletproof tank. The Nexus 5 I look at it wrong and it has fingerprint smudges on the back.

u/assassin_of_damned · 1 pointr/nexus6

I don't see the discount anymore. Is it over? Trying to order www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PM5RJMK and it is going for 9.99 with both the resellers available. ಠ_ಠ

u/Dexter79 · 10 pointsr/nexus6

You'd probably be fine without a screen protector but I wouldn't risk it on my N6. I use the IntelliArmor Pro tempered glass protector and to me it feels just as good as not having one on it all.

I find the Nexus 6 super slippery on its own. I've always had one of these on my phone and it makes it super grippy without adding much bulk at all.

It looks like it's unavailable, but it was unavailable before and came back when I broke my previous one. Hopefully it comes back.

I use a Mountek one that fits into the CD slot of a stereo. I've used it on my Nexus 5, the Nexus 6 and a friend uses his with a 2013 Nexus 7.

I have to occasionally tighten things up on it, but I like it overall.

Doesn't add much bulk to the back or the sides. The clear back is a fingerprint/smeare magnet but can easily be wiped off. Cut outs a damn near exact and its a tight fit all around. The price is good too. Link

Edit: The bumper and backing add for more grip. I haven't felt like i'm about to drop the thing when holding it loosely compared to without the case.

I had a Ringke slim in white like you. I have a midnight blue 6 though. (just wanted to see what all the white fuss was about...) After two months of use it's become scratched and smudged and all that sticks out like a sore thumb on the white. It's not pretty...

In addition (and perhaps more importantly) it makes the phone slipperier than it already is!

I just got a Spigen Slim Armor in Metal Slate, which not only matches the nexus 6's colors to the T, it also is a bit grippier, thicker, and has a stand. First impressions say that I'm going to like it a lot more!

http://www.amazon.com/Nexus-Case-Spigen-Armor-Google/dp/B00OH4I2IC/

It feels much more droppable than the Slim, but I'd get an even thicker one if I was dropping mine "frequently".

I just bought this today and couldn't be happier with a case. Its slim, has screen protection, and feels really premium. Also shows the Nexus 6 original design without altering it much. Hope you consider this.

u/LordKwik · 1 pointr/nexus6

Cheaper here on Amazon.

I use this one from Spigen, it's really freaking thin, but I feel protected with it.

u/knuckle_cracker · 1 pointr/nexus6

Nice man! I went with this guy.

u/icefreez · 1 pointr/nexus6

I know this is probably the last thing you need to feed your obviously case addiction ;) ... but I love my Diztronic Ultra TPU. If you have the regular one I recommend trying the ultra case. It has little bevels for corner protection but those corners double as kind of small nubs when holding the phone.

This guy did a drop test with it. I would never trust my case this much, but it did seem to keep the nexus 6 from damage.

u/tonybyatt · 4 pointsr/nexus6

Really nice, high quality slim case without the cutout...

Ringke SLIM Nexus 6 Case

u/dunstbin · 1 pointr/nexus6

Yes, I tried them with the Spigen Slim Armor, which is ironically not that slim. It works on the DT-900/DT-910, though it's a bit more finicky than without it - you have to line it up perfectly and make sure the back is flush with the charger.

I imagine a slimmer case would have no issues, but anything thicker is likely to not work well, if at all.

u/Nong_Chul · 1 pointr/nexus6

I have this one and love it. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QN2X718/ref=pe_385040_128020140_TE_3p_dp_1

There is nowhere that my thumb regularly touches that isn't covered by screen protector, and no proximity sensor issues.

u/TheDunadan29 · 1 pointr/nexus6

You could get a regular cheap mount and combine it with an OtterBox or other tough case. Normally I wouldn't go for the tough cases since they add a ton of bulk, but you can never be too careful when on a bike. I've been in many accidents, and in at least one I busted my watch. And a Nexus is a lot more expensinve than a watch (at least the kind I buy, no Rolexes for me).

Here's a cheap mount I found on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/GreatShield-Clip-Grip-Handlebar-iPhones-smartphones/dp/B00FA892IS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1426958508&sr=8-2&keywords=bicycle+mount+for+smartphone

or this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Aduro-Universal-Samsung-Motorola-Revolution/dp/B00R6RSCV4/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1426959064&sr=8-6&keywords=bicycle+mount+for+smartphone

You could use any mount really, but those are just the most appealing I found on Amazon.

And if you use a tough case you should be able to find one that is waterproof as well.

Here are some options: (albeit not waterproof, but they have front built in screen protectors which should help with minor water)

http://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Full-body-Protective-Protector-Resistant/dp/B00OHFGMGU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426959665&sr=8-1&keywords=otterbox+nexus+6

http://www.amazon.com/Protection-i-Blason-Full-body-Protective-Protector/dp/B00OGYP52Y/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1426959803&sr=8-14&keywords=otterbox+nexus+6

At least that's what I'd do if I were looking for a bike mount.

u/brwtx · 2 pointsr/nexus6

My current N6 still rocks and everyone looks at the charger on my desk with envy. So, I'm happy to wait another year for the next big Nexus with wireless charging.

u/CU3BALL · 2 pointsr/nexus6

I don't use the CD player in my car, so I've set up my mount using these:

Mountek Snap3

Spigen Slim Case for Nexus 6

I've taken the magnet and placed it inside the Spigen case. When I get in the car, I put the phone in the case and snap it on to the mount.

Let me know if you'd like some pictures.

u/Dinos4got2BAlive · 1 pointr/nexus6

I own this case and two others, and while the diztronic case is nice, I prefer the ringke slim. There's something to be said for having a case so thin that people don't realize you have a case at all.

u/6chan · 4 pointsr/nexus6

I liked that one with the kickstand

This

u/Rangizingo · 1 pointr/nexus6

Let me know what you think of that, I ordered this slim one and my only concern is security. I'm really gentle with phones, but given the footprint...

Not QI charging but I bought this one and it works well:

I'm considering buying one of these.

Just picked up a Spigen Thin/Exact Fit for mine and came in the mail yesterday. Adds a decent amount of grip to the phone while adding VERY minimal bulk.

I just got my case for my (now activated) Nexus 6. i-Blason Basically I was looking for strong protection with a kickstand. After reading a ton of reviews I pulled the trigger. Now that it's in hand I regret nothing. Strong build dual layers. I don't use the third layer belt clip holster, it mainly goes from pocket to desk/nightstand. Not bulky, good grip, feels sturdy.

u/yureisen · 2 pointsr/nexus6

First two reviews are fake.

And same here:

http://www.amazon.com/product-reviews/B00OH4HOOA/ref=acr_search_hist_5?ie=UTF8&filterBy=addFiveStar&showViewpoints=0

All three reviewers' icon follow the same pattern.

I have a Spigen case for my phone and I love it. But they totally deserve 1 star reviews for doing this.

Edit: grammar

I fucking love this Bugdroid case that's just a slim one I bought with a tempered glass screen protector. There's a brand (logo only) inside the bugdroid, but it fits well with the theme.

That's a slim setup, but my accident prone girlfriend swears by this huge fucker, which has seen up to 5 foot falls onto concrete with no real repercussions. This one IS branded, but it fits the look.

u/Marcellus111 · 1 pointr/nexus6

I don't have one, but I saw posted elsewhere that the Choe charger works fine: http://www.amazon.com/UPGRADED-Wireless-Charging-Blackberry-Qi-Enabled/dp/B00C40OG22

I have this one, it fits just right and since it doesn't go all the way to the edge it fits with most cases on the phone as well.

u/Riley_Coyote · 1 pointr/nexus6

The ones I have came with my phone (bought it used) so I don't know how much they are, but my BF got this one on Amazon for $28.

I guarantee you it is some kind of Spigen.

I bought both the Ringke Fusion and the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. Once I get them and the phone, i'll be doing a comparison video.

Currently on Amazon both of mine shipped.

The Spigen is supposed to be here 11/18. The Ringke is supposed to be here 12/4.

Just got to be careful when you put it on so that you don't get it too close to the sides otherwise it won't fully stick. The sides of the phone's glass are curved, this causing the potential for this issue.

u/LordCheezus · 6 pointsr/nexus6

This: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NWL33OO I didn't have a problem with it sticking to the edges.

I'm not bothering with changing my sim card. I just bought this.
I figured this was quicker than having to deal with customer service folks at AT&T for me.

u/iHateMyUserName2 · 1 pointr/nexus6

Yeah man, honestly it's great. It's the Yootech one. I kind of cheated a little when I put it on- once I dropped it on and smoothed it out, I used a hair dryer to get the adhesive extra sticky. Been a week now without any issues and the first 4 days was without a case.

Edit: No idea what I did wrong with the link thing, but whatever, it's there.

u/trustmeep · 5 pointsr/nexus6

I like the Mountek CD Slot phone holder.

I've used it for a couple of years now, and it hasn't messed up the CD player (I tested it just to make sure, not that I listen to CDs...what am I, your Grandma?).

It fits a Nexus 6 in a case with no problem.

This is the one I have for my Note 3. It's plenty wide for it. Goes in the CD player slot (which I never use) so It's right below my GPS screen in the car.

u/ImNotYourFckinBro · 2 pointsr/nexus6

You'll be fine. You'll need a nano sim. If you have an older phone with a micro, you'll need to cut it down (or use a tool like this). Either way, turn off your old phone, take out the sim. Pop it in your Nexus 6 and it will activate. I've had mine for a few weeks now with no issues (in terms of service or plan).

right, so im looking at this one right here. Its either this one or the moko one since i need to have a belt holster type deal since i sit in really tight desks at school, and being a big guy i am prone to hitting the phone on the underside of the desks when it is in my pocket.

u/landonianb · 2 pointsr/nexus6

That Slim Armor case looks almost black.. Is it this dark blue one, or is there a black one?

u/k4p0ng · 1 pointr/nexus6

i've used both brands for my n4/5. quality products.

I ended up getting one of these.

I wanted a slimmer case that also showed off the design of the phone.
