Absolutely!

You may already know that there is an existing Night Vale novel, and a second coming later this year, maybe that would be useful for inspiration?

Anyone that likes Welcome to Night Vale NEEDS to read John Dies at the End. Seriously.

It's also on the American Amazon as well! Curiously, it's only in the Kindle store right now. I suspect because it's been listed super early

Very cool! We got the socks (cheap "thermal" socks) and shorts from goodwill. My shorts (middle) are actually an old pair of Dickies that were cut off. Shoes and hats we all owned already. Here's where we got the shirt (we liked the bigger buttons): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JF21SU/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Just figured I'd post this here given that there was a crossover with Nightvale at one point and some may still be interested in it.

From the pic, I think they may be those plastic toy tubes that you stretch out and swing around, which makes them do a whistling noise. Kids toy.

You should check out any of Neil Gaiman's short story compilations
like Smoke and Mirrors (Smoke and Mirrors) or Fragile Things (Fragile Things). Also, Stories: All-New Tales Edited by Neil Gaiman and Al Sarrantonio (Stories: All-New Tales Edited by Neil Gaiman and Al Sarrantonio) and My Mother She Killed Me, My Father He Ate Me (My Mother She Killed Me, My Father He Ate Me) are a couple of great short-story anthologies that have some very strange/creepy moments.

Edit: Links in this subreddit tend to be pretty illegible, so I have included the titles of each book in parenthesis after the links for immediate legibility's sake).

This collection features H.P. Lovecraft's dream world stories. For all the different criticisms and interpretations, they're creepy as fuck and a good way to get into the author's body of work.

1. Buy 3 of these.

2. Buy 1000 of these

3. A complete suit set from here. Along with some matches and kerosene. Warning, suit is only fire resistant.

5. And finally, one of these, make sure to get the kind with rechargeable batteries or else you will have to scream manually while replacing them.

Try and find a copy of the rarer "A Walking Tour of the Shambles" by Gaiman and Gene Wolfe. It's literally like reading about Night Vale, as written by Neil Gaiman and Gene Wolfe. I have a hard time believing that they hadn't read it.

"A Walking Tour of The Shambles is purportedly volume #16 in the Little Walks for Sightseers series. But the publishers preface states that the volume is out of print in the original series, and is suspected of having been suppressed by the Chicago Tourist Commission and the International Brotherhood of Meatworkers. Furthermore, the publishers say, Mr. Gaiman and Mr. Wolfe, both of whom have wives and families that they are very fond of and would not wish to see come to harm, now deny all knowledge of the book. "

"Should you ever find yourself inside the borders of the Shambles, be warned. Walk as quickly as you can, without stopping, looking around too much or speaking to any of the odd inhabitants of the place until you obtain a copy of this indispensable guide. In it, you will discover the best defensive maneuvers against a crocodile, how to avoid being attacked by the denizens of the House of Clocks, and how to keep yourself from being robbed, poisoned or otherwise incapacitated and sold as a treat to fellow unfortunates."
