I don't have any experience with the B&N one, but I use this one from amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Arkon-Portable-Fold-Up-Playbook-IPM-TAB1/dp/B000CKVOOY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1319994114&sr=8-1
It's pretty sturdy and also adjustable. Really happy with it so far.
I use a cable intended for an Amazon Kindle (E ink version) device to charge my Nook Color (rooted with CM7). It actually works much better than the original B&N one because the plug is smaller and the cable is better quality. It charges just as fast as it originally did.
Replacement Kindle chargers are pretty cheap.
I've purchased 3 (and returned 2) covers. The first was the leather BN simple book style cover. I returned it because it didn't have any pockets. I exchanged it for the BN leather cover with the extra leather flap the folds into a landscape easel. Much too heavy to hold for an extended period. I finally bought this JavoEdge cover and it's been perfect. Lightweight yet protective. Pockets and pen holder. The cover folds back on itself quite easily and it closes with a hidden magnet. Plus, I love the tweed look.
I couldn't either so I bought one of these. Super cheap and it does the job of at least protecting it in my laptop bag.

I've got one of these that I keep my Nook in. I carry my laptop and Nook in a large messenger bag to work and the Javo case protects it fine.
Toward the Year 2018, published in 1968. I got it at a library sale. Thought it was a fitting end for a book that tried forecasting the future of technological progress. I didn't have the foresight to see what it said about the future of books before gutting the inside.
I use this keyboard at work and I like it:

I'm thinking about just getting a silicone skin with a screen protector.
