Okay, so I did some digging and came across this - which might explain why you can't find it anywhere. The synopsis sounds about right and people mention Creepypasta Wiki in the reviews. So I searched there and found a story by the same name, but it didn't seem anything like what you were talking about. Some more googling brought me to this review which hits on some key points u/MattIntul mentioned in their post. And then finally I found and read through this, which sounds exactly like the story you're after and confirms what happened to it: Delete|Author is trying to publish
