Not the guy you asked, but I got the Nillkin frosted grey case, its the best balance of super slim while also feeling like it actually protects the phone. It gives a front lip around the screen so the glass doesn't touch a table when laying face down and the back is thick enough not to let the lens touch the table when back down. It ads very little bulk to the phone, which was what I was hoping for. Only problem is the plastic is a little rigid, I like the flexible type more but that's my preference not really a problem.

u/__PETTYOFFICER117__ · 2 pointsr/oneplus

Here's the one I use. I'm fairly careful with my phones, but this thing feels like it offers pretty great protection. Buttons are nice and clicky, not mushy like many cases make things. Has a nice lip on the front and keeps the camera bump from sticking out.

u/The_Bandit87 · 1 pointr/oneplus

I just got THIS for mine and I'm really liking it. Lovely fit and feels great in the hand, especially with the bumpy, textured back.

u/wellkevi01 · 1 pointr/oneplus

I've ordered two cheap sandstone style cases off Amazon for my 7 Pro. This one and this one. Fitment wise, both are perfectly fine. All of the cutouts are in the right spots and don't interfere with anything. I like the first one because the top and bottom of it are closed and have cutouts where required. The second one just has an open top and bottom, which in my eyes offers less protection. The second case feels better than the first one though. The "sandstone" texture on the first one doesn't feel quite as gritty as it should, plus only after a day of use, some of the texture was wearing off on the sides of the case. The second case feels just right and the texture doesn't seem to be wearing off yet.

u/Arch_Magus_Stein · 5 pointsr/oneplus

I had the oneplus 1 with the sandstone back and loved it. I really wanted the official OP3 sandstone case so Im glad I couldn't justify cost at the time. I bought this and love it. Easy to clean protects well room for a glass screen protector. Thanks for the heads up on the sandstone case.

My phone (oneplus 3t Gunmetal 64G) came with a screen protector already installed when i received it 4 days ago. Every phone company should preinstall screen protectors. 10/10 would buy again

EDIT I also bought this case off amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HAPB0N8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Which has a plastic screen protector built into the case. So with the screen protector that oneplus provides on the phone (which isn't as good as the curved one i bought with my phone) and the case my phone is super protected and looks great. I'm going to save my curved TG screen protector for a rainy day.

Sup case makes great cases. I have the Unicorn beetle pro on my 5t. It's more rugged and comes with a belt clip. They also another for the 7pro which is their style series. Not as rugged but has a clear back to show off that OP logo. Lol.

This is the style series:

When I was looking for a case for my 3T i came across the rhino case as well. Imo the rhino case looks a bit too thick for my liking, and so i found this case:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Orzly%C2%AE-Oneplus-OnePlus-Protective-Absorbing/dp/B01HBLS85Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480469131&sr=8-1&keywords=oneplus+orzly+case

I've been using this case for a few days now and I find it great. It's not too thick, and you can also show off your dbrand skin if you'd like as well.

u/OfficialRpM · 1 pointr/oneplus

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B06XG19W3G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_ve7nqQmEWAkEZ

Have this on my OP5 right now. Feels high quality and thin enough to not be bulky, and I feel confident that my phone will be okay when I accidently drop it. If you can wait till August to get a spigen case, it's worth it. In the meanwhile, I'd recommend an official OP5 case or an otter box if you want the best protection.

u/dired · 1 pointr/oneplus

The Nillkin is a perfect fit. It provides exact height and coverage to protect the sides so the glass can't be accidentally lifted up. The edges are very smooth so it actually feels like the phone body rather than a cover.

u/-ToasT_ · 3 pointsr/oneplus

I have never had cases for my phones as I like to admire and feel the beauty of them but the OnePlus 3 is just too slippery in my hands.
I'm very happy with this case. I don't even take it off when I thought I would. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01DLM25L0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_-fpjybN4J1VBF

u/JoeDaEskimo · 8 pointsr/oneplus

I'm rocking this one right now and it's great.

https://www.amazon.com/Oneplus-Nillkin-Protector-fingerprints-3-Retail/dp/B01HZT58E6/

I don't use the screen protector but the case itself is super sturdy for the price you pay, and the back texture is great for a grip. The logo isn't very noticeable either, which is something I'm usually annoyed by.

u/v36 · 1 pointr/oneplus

What's funny is I ordered this case about a week ago and even now on the Amazon listing, the stock photos do not depict that rectangular design on the clear back. On the product listing it looks like a spigen techarmor (tech21 replica) with plain clear backing case.

u/outtokill7 · 2 pointsr/oneplus

Perfect, they sell on Amazon Canada, and they are in stock. I'm definitely getting one of these.

Can anyone recommend a case?
I was thinking about either this or this

u/Seamonkey79 · 1 pointr/oneplus

I ordered this https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R7VDQQ1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is almost identical in feel to the Sandstone 1st party case, but less than 1/3 the price. I'm probably going to order the 1st party Karbon (protect, not bumper) case soon, though - I had that on my OP6 and it is thus far my favorite case ever aside from the $50 Pitaka I had on my S8, which is almost exactly the same anyway.

u/Jaxidian · 1 pointr/oneplus

I did a dongle roundup over here that you might be interested in: https://www.reddit.com/r/essential/comments/9urism/ph1_35mm_dongle_roundup_google_apple_oneplus_more/

copy/pasted for your convenience:

Dongle|Works|Price|Comments
:--|:--|:--|:--
Razer|Yes|$20|Very good
Google (updated)|Yes|$12|Very good
Google (old)|Yes|$9 discontinued|Very good
Essential (black/white)|Yes|$15|Very good
Apple|Kinda|$9|Left channel is good but right channel is soft. This behavior is specific to the PH-1. Pixel & OnePlus do not have this problem. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend this dongle for the PH-1. Apparently a 4-wire 3.5mm jack solves this problem.
OnePlus|No|$?|This does not work with a PH-1 nor a Pixel. The device continues playing audio out the phone speakers and never successfully plays anything over the dongle. As far as I can tell, OP doesn't sell this by itself at this time - it's only bundled with a OnePlus 6T phone.

u/DigitalAssassn · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I would recommend the Spigen Neo Hybrid case. Adds some grip and looks pretty good as well.

u/Barth39 · 1 pointr/oneplus

I picked up this supcase off Amazon. I like l clear cases and this one is perfect for showing off the Nebula Blue if you have that one.

u/ltambo · 1 pointr/oneplus

Orzly flexible clear case

I got the soft gold version of the phone and it looked too nice to cover up. I've dropped my phone once onto hardwood floor from like 2.5 feet.

u/SylarPower · 1 pointr/oneplus

And another thing, the IQ shield you're talking about is this #1 or this #2 ?

So i can be sure that the dimension of the film fills good with the case.

Thank you

u/Zovoka · 1 pointr/oneplus

It has been holding up fine for me so far, no issues, but I might look at the spigen neo hybrid if you can afford it. It looks like a nicer case.

When I bought my op3, I bought the op3 version of this case. I love it, I've dropped my phone a number of times, and it's kept it perfectly safe.

Are you in USA? If so will it run on cricket? They're selling the OnePlus 7 gm1900 on Amazon for $472 and was thinking about getting it.

It's that or the Zenfone 6 but leaning more towards the OnePlus. I currently have a OnePlus 3T that's been and still is great.

I've had this for about four weeks, very happy with it!

u/Fresshmaker · 1 pointr/oneplus

The Spigen Rugged Armor case has been my go-to for my last several phones. Great protection in a slim and clean case. They won't be in stock until June 1, however.

I'm using the Orzly Flexicase. It looks way better on your phone than in the pictures. I'm pretty careful with my electronics so I opted for a slim case just to protect from scratches, but not hard drops.

u/bxkrish · 1 pointr/oneplus

Just received my case 5 minutes back and I am already liking it very much.

The company is amFilm at least I think this is what he meant. This is the one I have ordered as well after reading good things on here.

u/kanyecolle · 1 pointr/oneplus

I have the ArmorSuit on my 3T and I really like it. One improvement over other screen protectors is that it's easy to clean and reapply if you mess up when putting it on. I've had mine since March with no problems.

u/PowerLemons · 1 pointr/oneplus

I found this case on Amazon which I've been looking at for a while: http://www.amazon.com/TUDIA-Slim-Fit-CYGEN-Protective-OnePlus/dp/B00NJBVHA4

It's a two-piece plastic and TPU case by Tudia. It's the closest thing to anything that's actually serious protection for the OnePlus One. It was just released so nobody knows how good it is, but it's worth trying out if you want protection.

u/oscillatingobsession · 1 pointr/oneplus

Cases I'm currently considering:

Hardshell (similar to the OP cases):

u/Toastbuns · 4 pointsr/oneplus

Would anyone want this 3/3T screen protector free? I have it and never used and don't have my 3T anymore:

https://www.amazon.com/ArmorSuit-Protector-Friendly-MilitaryShield-Compatible/dp/B01H85Q8V4

I'll send it anywhere in the USA if you cover shipping.

u/HeyMikeyLikesIt · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I had the same post and someone recommended this case for the time being - https://www.amazon.com/OnePlus-SUPCASE-Unicorn-Premium-Protective/dp/B07JFWD894

I ordered that and my 6T by mail and will report back to how much I like it when both come in.

u/Outrager · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I'm thinking of getting the Supcase case when it's released since I really liked the one I had for my old Nexus 6P. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JFWD894/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-Cz3BbE0MQ4QQ

u/jollyholley · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I have the Spigen Rugged Armor. It's thin and gives the phone some more grip which is what I was looking for. You're right though, Spigen does a good job.

I've heard people had good experiences with the Essential dongle. That's an amazon link but it's not an affiliate link of any kind.

u/TKFTGuillotine · 2 pointsr/oneplus

Will not include one, no, and since the one they sell on their website doesn't seem to be compatible with anything other than the 6T, I've asked around and been recommended the Essential adapter.

u/javiwankenobi · 1 pointr/oneplus

Case is a Diztronic. Then he applied a dbrand skin on top of it.

u/Kazurion · 1 pointr/oneplus

I have the OtterBox case too. Same problem, it's a fucking ripoff. I like cases like this. But I don't know if you can buy that from your country. Real double layer cases like that offer the best impact protection, but you may dislike the built in screen protector. You can remove it and apply a custom one.

u/the_perfect_human · 4 pointsr/oneplus

Check this one out.

Cheap, eliminates camera bump, let's the phone design be seen. There's also a colored pack.

Takes a bit to get the bubbles out, but it's a full adhesive curved protector.

u/TopFlightSecurity_ · 1 pointr/oneplus

Amazon now has the option of getting it through Prime again for $13. I bought it now in case they decide to send it early again.

Not to mention there's two reviews on it now, both verified purchases. Not sure how reliable they are though.

Most likely going to end up getting the Spigen rugged armor. I've had that same case on my Pixel XL for years and it's worked perfectly for me, with very little to no damage to the phone through so many clumsy drops that I've lost count. It doesn't come out until June 1st though.

Alternatively, you can get it directly from spigen on amazon for half the price (at least in the US, not sure about elsewhere), plus prime if you have it.

I put a Dbrand skin on my 3T, but I ended up taking it off and going with one of the official OnePlus cases. I swap between that and a more protective case, the clear Spigen Ultra Hybrid depending upon my anticipated uses.

The Dbrand skin was cool, but I couldn't keep the edges down properly. So that's most likely my fault.

No worries if not but could you PM me a close up of your screen so I can see if it covers the same amount as the current screen protector I use has a 25mm gap around the edge!

u/iHateMyUserName2 · 1 pointr/oneplus

Personally, I'm done with TGSP's on the 3/3T because of all the compatibility issues. Either they're too far over the corners or they don't cover the whole screen. I bought the Orzly V2 and hated it because they only have the adhesive on the top and bottom so you'll get a massive rainbow effect in the middle of the screen and it didn't work with any of my cases except the Spigen Rugged Armor. I went with a IQ Shield screen protector and love it. A couple weeks on and no bubbles, no peeling up, no issues...but since it's plastic, it's not quite the same as a TGSP.
