A pebble. It's an awesome complement to your smartphone and you can do a lot of cool things such as automate your house, if you have the proper equipment, and show you navigation on your wrist so you don't have to look at your phone if you are biking or driving.

There's a huge appstore so you can look at anything that may interest you such as daily tools, utilities, notification helpers, remotes, games and fitness apps. If you like to run a lot, a pebble is a must buy because you can easily see your total time, distance and pace. That's my favorite use of the pebble by far.

A cool feature I luckily haven't been able to use is send emergency texts or phone calls directly from your wrist in case of emergency and you can't access your phone.

I may have to backtrack and say you're on to something. It looks like some cables advertise 2.4A charging support or fast charging.

Here is what I'm using and it charges identically to my Oneplus One cable, and it looks and feels great. Hope it all works out for ya.

I bought this one, and it's great. Fits a OPO perfectly. I've bought 3, 1 for work and 2 for home.

I bought the screen with the LCD and my seller gave me what seemed like the tape I needed. It was not. To make a long story short, you will need, ideally, 1mm double sided LCD screen tape. I got mine on amazon for super cheap. Just look up double sided screen tape or something. I bought something similar to this, if not this exactly, I'm not sure I'm on mobile so I don't have my history saved.

Don't be afraid to use it. I was kind of conservative with how much I used and wish I used more but I'm not opening that back up.

I strongly recommend this screen protector.

Tampered glass, .24mm thick, easiest installation of my life.

I don't know for sure, but I imagine the import tax to be the same. You would be better off by going with [this one] (http://www.amazon.ca/Orzly%C2%AE-Tempered-Protective-Protector-SmartPhone/dp/B00KQKATH8) from Amazon in my opinion.

u/bung_holio · 2 pointsr/oneplusone

It looks and operates same as the stock one.

I got this one on amazon: Middle Frame for Oneplus One LCD Display Touch Screen Assembly with Screen Digitizer Replacement Parts + Install Tools https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V9UBOSW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_Aey1utnXquJiT

And followed this guide:

I had a trouble getting the volume up/down buttons off and ended up breaking them. Other than that everything went fine per the guide. Just be sure you get under the wire/pad with some small tweezers and you'll be OK. I pulled too hard on the wire.

I use these

I just got a tempered glass screen protector to replace the plastic one that I ordered from OPPO.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00KQKATH8?pc_redir=1414392560&robot_redir=1

Couldn't be happier with it. Better touch response and no bubbles behind the screen. Also a diztronic TPU case.

Sorry in advance for not actually answering your question, but this is something I used to also worry about since I can't run without music. The "solution" I went with was to get a pair of pants with pockets deep enough that my One wasn't sticking out (which wasn't as easy as it sounds actually!)

Also, not just the One, but all these new big phones would be uncomfortable to use with an armband, don't you think?

EDIT: If you're curious, I ended up buying this pair. The pockets aren't exactly massive, but since the pockets are pretty tight, the phone doesn't really bounce around.

I would recommend you get this one instead.

www.amazon.com/Wireless-Universal-Charger-Receiver-Smartphone/dp/B00G465N10/ref=sr_1_27?ie=UTF8&qid=1413566311&sr=8-27&keywords=micro+usb+qi+receiver

I found the Kr-Net model is more receptive to qi chargers and it charges faster (750ma /1amp vs 500ma with the other films).

I use a ditztronic tpu case with my OPO. I also recommend use 3mm double sided lcd tape to mount the receiver near the camera hole so it won't interfere with the NFC. Also leave a little slack on the usb cable so you can pull it out without taking the case off.

I have one of thesethese. It's cheap but very useful. I have no idea how accurate it is, but here's my quick test with battery life at 40% (bear in mind, the crappy little meter is in line and may affect charge rates and/or isn't accurate):

OPO charger & cable: 420 mA
HP Touchpad charger & OPO cable: 1120 mA
HP Touchpad charger & this 6' cable: 430 mA
HP Touchpad charger & another crappier 6' cable: 110 mA

Conclusion: not all cables are equal but the volt/amp meter is, even if it's a CPOS.

Edit1: I suck at formatting
Edit2: The HP Touchpad charger, for the record, is one of the beastliest chargers ever. I puts out 5.3 volts and up to 2 amps (which is still only 10.6 watts, for the record)
Edit3: Immo get higher and listen to vinyl now
