I and most people on this sub consider the fan translation to be better than the official one. Most people bought the official volumes just as a way of supporting the author. If you can, I would encourage you to buy the official volumes as well. But to truly understand the story and to read the best translation available, I highly recommend that you read the fan translation. Here are some links for you:

For those interested in acupuncture, the easiest way to learn the concepts is to start with Japanese "Shiatsu", called "Acupressure", which uses fingertips for the most part, instead of needles. It is pretty easy to learn and good for alleviating many of the nagging things like headache, sinus, and other problems, for which we otherwise spend a ton of money for OTC remedies.

One of the best guides for it is Do-It-Yourself Shiatsu: How to Perform the Ancient Japanese Art of "Acupuncture Without Needles", by Wataru Ohashi, which is the size of a paperback magazine, is well illustrated and has simple instructions.

Used copies on Amazon start at 10 cents, or $5 with shipping. Over the years I have purchased copies seven times, and six of them I have ended up giving them as gifts to friends.

The only concern is that if you do learn it, it's probably not a good idea to talk about it much, because everybody has ouchy places and will pester you.

If so, Sebas is my favorite, and I’m not sure if you intend on touching on characters outside of Nazarick, but... Brain would be cool. Thats an e-book reader. It is meant for reading pdf s and other formats electronic on a display that resembles paper (it use e-ink to print it and doesn’t emit any light, just like paper). Also it is convenient because you can store several thousands of books (not physical, of course) inside. Awesome thing when travelling. While it doesn’t quite replace the actual feel of a book, it is WAYS better than a conventional screen.

I am reading volume 6 right now and wanted to confirm that Demiurge is working with Princess Renner which is what brought me to this old post. I see you reference Volume 9 but I was on Amazon less than an hour ago and it says Volume 7 comes out later this month and Volume 8 comes out in September. Where are you able to read ahead? I don't think I can wait that long to know what happen!!
