They are kind of the same product but on a different scale. The reptifogger is essentially a large ultrasonic humidifier that will produce mist and greatly increase the humidity in your tank. The mist king system is a diaphragm pump that pushes water out of high pressure mister that creates more of a rain effect.

A small ultrasonic mister could be purchased instead and set just under the surface of the water in your tank to create the aesthetic fog you are looking for and save you a decent chunk of change. This is what I am going to use in mine to make fog on the water

Sprackland wrote a book once, named Animals and Fishes in Aquaterrariums (TFH, 1995)... try and source it, if you can.

Firebelly toads might look cute, but they're really unsuited to a mixed species viv, they will bite/eat anything that moves near them. Dart frogs, small pipids (ADFs, small Pipa sp, Silurana), Kaola pulchra and small tree frogs are all much better with other species.

I've fallen in love with the Tunze 5024.040. I've used them as powerheads in nano reef tanks, I have one circulating water in my 5gal fiddler crab tank, and have replaced the stock pump in my Fluval Spec V with one. They are small, quiet, efficient, and tough as nails.

You're not relying on it for filtration and the waterfall won't be more than a few inches higher than the pump so a super cheap one (like this or this) would work just fine.

Clear the intake every time you water change or you'll lose flow
