This book is about all kinds of American citizens who've joined the military or are in the military at some point or another and their tales of life surrounding war and living as a veteran.
There's NO American bias like in movies and it can be explained as American Sniper but with a lot more chapters dedicated to different people's stories.
You read about an American-Egyptian, christian veteran at college talking about war to a coloured, feminist muslima, you can read about the excitement of an artillery crew at finally scoring some kills, you can read about a marine trying to cope with his issues by talking to a priest, you can read about the date life of an IED survivor and this is just the tip of the iceberg. There's many chapters dedicated to all kinds of combat roles and veterans.
I would greatly appreciate it if this got through to him (Felix) because i'm certain this book will pique his interest. So please upvote for him to see. It's certainly a mature book and it's non-fiction which would be nice for a change.
