Sorry for the 100 edits, I am reddit noob just finding my feet with this, for some reason my edits keep taking taking away the top paragraph, but basically the start should read,

I am very sorry to hear about your problems, they sound horrific, I will try and answer your questions as much as I can, but I must say I am not a medical professional, nothing I say here, should be considered as medical advise. But I know you will have heard this many times, but with the problems you have mentioned you really should be going into rehab.

Below is a book on how to treat the withdrawls you have mentioned. The main strategy used in the book is to chemically raise Gaba at different sites to the down-regulated ones. As your main issue is Phenibut (GabaB) and Kratom (Opiode) like you need to book into a rehab clinic as soon as possible. The problems your facing will not go away until you treat the root cause, but you already know that.

If rehab is not an option for you, then I highly recommend this book (Brain in Balance)

Because you have so many neurotransmitters being activated and going through withdrawals at the same time, It is going to be hard to tell which substance is causing the negative symptoms. A rehabilitation professional will be able to correctly and medically detox you, then hopefully put you on medication you can become stable on and take to keep your neurotransmitters balanced.

From how you are describing your problems, it does not sound like herbs or nootropics are going to cut it, but if I can I would like to help. Im not a medical professional, I do need to say that for legal reason, and also what i say is not medical advice.

The Book mentioned above, is available as an ebook so you can read it straight away or an audio book so you can listen to it. It discusses addiction from different angles and shows strategies to successfully detox from all types of drugs, but it focuses more on the Gabagenic and Opiode systems.

Phenibut withdrawals are horrible, I have experienced them myself but the silver lining is they usually do not last long a week and they are mostly gone, but the the damage to your Gaba receptors will likely last a bit longer.

The main strategy used in the book is chemically raise Gaba at different sites to the downregulated ones. As your main issue is Phenibut (GabaB) and Kratom (Opiode)

After carefully studying the book I believe he would prescribe

  • Generic Name: topiramate
  • Brand Name: Topamax

This drug would raise your Gaba but also reduce glutamate which if it gets too high will cause grand mal seizures the problem is, your liver metabolizes the drug and if you have liver issues, this may make things worse.

Once again I say, you should really go to a rehab center, they will have drugs similar to this which maybe safer for you, the best thing is to go and be as honest as possible, they are experts in this field and will you will likely get better advice that im trying to give right now.

Baclofen is a excellent gaba drug, which also reduces glutamate but you will need a prescription to get it. Agmatine you mentioned is excellent at reducing glutmate and also at upregulating your opiode receptors. Agmatine is also one of the easiest things to get as its marketed as more a bodybuilding supplement, than a nootropic or psychoactive substance.

Fasoracetam, I have tried this with phenibut and it does work very well at lowering the tollerance, so it could help you taper off, I would make sure the brand is more than a couple of years old with verified reviews tho.

The other ingredients, unfortunately, I do not believe are strong enough to make any difference in this situation.

If you can not go to rehab Agmatine and Fasoracetam seem to be the main things to taper, agmatine has been tested and is safe to take upto 5 years at 2.5mg Fasoracetam is entirely untested so I have no idea what will happen there, but personal experience and google searches shows it reduces phenibut tollerance so you can taper down, and is far less addictive than phenibut also.

Kratom would be a plant I would normally recommend, but it will be interesting to see how you take that? What dose do you take? how and when do you take it? what strains?

Kratom is a very powerful herb if you take it correctly, it is also highly addictive if you abuse it, but going forward you maybe able to use it to taper off but potentiating the effects whilst coming off the phenibut?.

Once again I need to say I am not a medical professional, I am a herbalist by trade but that means nothing in this situation, I really think you need to go to a rehabilitation center, but if that is still not an option after reading all this, then I hope this information at least gives you some hope?

I am here just to listen if you need someone to talk to about this?

Honestly I wish you all the luck in the world, and hope this turns around and ends well.

Get some of these and you won't have to worry about it. I used them during my taper. They are made of edible rice paper.

Lol that is just so wrong. Scoops are NOT an accurate way of dosing.

Sure, maybe a shit scale is inaccurate.. one like this one only has a .005 mg margin of error. Due to inconsistency with chunks of powder (clumpy powder?) You have no idea how much is actually in one of those scoops. Plus each type of powder weighs something different. If you buy phenibut from a different vendor, the powder could be more/less fine.

Have you read or listened to anything by Johann Hari? Your statements are quite similar to what he says about depression. The book he wrote about it is literally called Lost Connections.

Here is an article summarizing Johann’s book.
