I bought the Stealth 12.5" QHD Touchscreen about 2.5 months ago. I must have spent about 2 weeks going back and forth between this and the Blade. So, here's my mini review, if it helps.

As far as portability goes, the Stealth is absolutely awesome. It's really impressive how light and slim it is. And the aluminum body makes it feel really solid and well built. This really set the standard for me for future laptops.

I read a lot of reviews about the 4k touchscreen and to avoid it due to battery life issues. (I'll get to that in a minute) Against popular opinion, I went with it because there was a decent sale price on it compared to the QHD. I can't compare the two screens, and I imagine they're almost imperceptibly similar, but it looks excellent. It's super crisp, the colors are phenomenal and really show great detail. The back light is top notch, too.

The keyboard took a little bit to adjust to. The keys feel really nice and I have no trouble typing, but some games feel a little cramped. I play a lot of League and I'm so used to my BlackWidow that it doesn't really come as a surprise to me. So, just keep that in mind. As far as a laptop keyboard goes, though, I have to say it's one of the better ones I've used.

I actually use the touchscreen a lot more than I thought I would. It feels much more natural to scroll through pages, pdfs, etc. Pinch to zoom is nice. I got a screen protector for it and I would say I use it a little more than the touchpad for general usage. I'm glad I went with it.

The battery is not nearly as bad as people made it out to be on the 4k. I use the Stealth as my DnD laptop and I easily get 4-5 hours on 25%-50% brightness, high performance, with Youtube on a playlist, OneNote open, multiple PDFs, and whatever normal apps happen to be on in the background. If I drop down to power saver mode, I can usually get up to 6 hours. I'm never far from an outlet, but in case I am I have an Anker PowerCore nearby. When gaming, the life drops to about 3-4 hours on 75%-100% brightness. This is all pretty much what I expected.

Gaming is pretty good on the Stealth. I can run League, my poison of choice, at 60-70 fps with medium settings. Some games that I regularly play on it using low/medium are; Fallout 4, Borderlands 2/TPS, Total War: Warhammer, Vermintide, and Overwatch.

Overall, I can't recommend this enough if you're looking for an ultraportable. I plan on picking up a Core eventually, but it hasn't been necessary yet.

This "mini" review turned out much longer than I expected, but let me know if you have any specific questions. I'd be happy to answer.
Sounds like you are a big fan of the Razer Blade you have. Glad to hear. Should I get it haha. Pull the trigger on it haha? My one question for you is 2 folds. Firstly if I get the 256gb ssd model which is cheaper obisouly I can then in the future upgrade that. But I hear it'll void warranty? You mention an external drive. I've been looking at this one: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-T3-Portable-SSD-MU-PT250B/dp/B01AVF6UQQ?th=1&psc=1
Is it possible for me save games and software on that? Just have to make sure I have it plugged in for it to run.
The best and biggest SSD you can get right now is the m.2 NVMe Samsung Pro 970 2TB. I personally have the Samsung EVO 970 2TB and it’s a great SSD (just a tiny bit slower than the Pro.)
Pro:
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-960-PRO-Internal-MZ-V6P2T0BW/dp/B01LY3Y9PH/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?keywords=samsung+pro+2tb+nvme&qid=1558028483&s=gateway&sprefix=samsung+pro+2tb&sr=8-6
EVO:
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-EVO-2TB-MZ-V7E2T0BW/dp/B07C8Y31G1/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=samsung+pro+2tb+nvme&qid=1558028483&s=gateway&sprefix=samsung+pro+2tb&sr=8-3
For Ram, you will want 2666 MHz 260-Pin SODIMMS. I recommend buying a matching set (so they are matched, and are paired so they run optimally for dual channel use.) I would recommend a matched set of 32gb (2x16gb) Hyper X impact (made by Kingston.)
https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Technology-HyperX-HX426S15IB2K2-16/dp/B01NAL3TYY/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=hyperx%2B2666mhz&qid=1558028418&s=gateway&sprefix=hyper%2Bx%2B2666mh&sr=8-4&th=1&psc=1
Well if you want some cheap options razer is honestly overpriced. You could get a Redragon K552 KUMARA LED Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016MAK38U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ECH.AbNW64SPV. It’s super cheap and looks good. Throw some new keycaps on and it’s glorious
It's rare to see Amazon, Newegg, or Best Buy sell something at Razer's MSRP. For example:
I've never paid Razer's "full" price for any of their products. Other retailers always have better prices. So the Orbweaver not being carried directly by all three of those retailers is unusual. Thus my question.
Actually, given that Best Buy lists the Tiamat as clearance and how long it has been without an update, I'm curious if that might be on the list for an update.
I got this for my stealth.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FKTZLBS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm not sure why it's not available currently but I absolutely love it. It's approved and works with the Stealth, can drive 3 monitors, charges the laptop so I can keep my charger in my bag, has an additional USB-C port, plenty of other ports. I've had it for a month and absolutely love it.
Your best bet would be to go with a powered docking station which would connect to your stealth via one usb c cable. Certain docking stations like the one linked below provide up to 60w power which would work for the stealth which can charge via usb c and only requires 45w of power. From the docking station you can connect a monitor, keyboard, mouse or whatever other accessories you may want.
I currently have this docking station for my Razer blade and love it.
Also, for 2666MHz, how do these two compare? Hyper X and Ballistix
Also, this is the 3200 Hyper X. I know the clock speed is higher, but the CL goes from 15 to 20. I am thinking the 2666 CL15 may be the best value

says 32 but people have used it for their lg 34 curved as well.
so long as it supports 20 pounds, i think you're fine but i bought a wali gas spring that supposedly support 20 pounds and it did not work. ended up with this spring system(25lb weight limit.)
Razer core is technicality the best. :)

Should work well to
I hope links like this are allowed: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K4TZQ7D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_t-hrDb8KJCYND
Good plan with the ram, I just don't have another machine to put it in.
I found this one for $84 i also listed some other brands keyboards and they are all $80 or below just in case you need other options and they are all mechanical keyboards. Your brother will be satisified with any that i link. Have a good day :) LMK if you have any questions
Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2016 - Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Cherry MX Blue
Corsair strafe
Logitech G610
Steelseries apex m400
Corsair Vengance K65(no numberpad)
G-Skill ripjaws km570
G-Skill ripjaws km780r
I have xbox controller for PC and it comes with USB stick that helps you connect the controller. The pairing works perfectly and so far i haven't found a single game from steam that don't works.
I have this one here:
https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Xbox-Wireless-Adapter-Windows-one/dp/B00ZB7W4QU
WiFi and Bluetooth are both on the same little circuit board inside the laptop. If you unscrew the bottom panel for Blade it's super easy to locate and it's just held in with one screw. It will have a black wire and a white wire attached for the antennas. It's just a matter of removing the phillips screw/popping the antenna wires and reversing it with the new Intel chip.
Here's the link to the one I got: https://www.amazon.com/Intel-Wireless-AC-8265-NGWMG-BlueTooth-Brown/dp/B01MZA1AB2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1503054812&sr=8-1&keywords=intel+8265
If you want one that is specifically Razer brand, you may need to check their website.
If you're fine with any sleeve, I have the 14" variant of the Amazon Basics Sleeve, which works pretty well for my 14" Blade. And for $11 it's not too expensive.
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-SSD-970-EVO-2TB/dp/B07C8Y31G1/ref=sr_1_5?crid=310XD5982TRTW&keywords=2tb+nvme&qid=1564604902&s=electronics&sprefix=2+tb+n%2Celectronics%2C213&sr=1-5
or your NVME slot I would go with this 2TB Samsung 970

For the 2.5" slot if you want SSD: 4TB SSD
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Inch-SATA-Internal-Gray/dp/B07L3CLM2B/ref=sxin_3_ac_d_pm?ac_md=5-2-QWJvdmUgJDMwMA%3D%3D&crid=UHWKQ1789UWV&keywords=2.5+ssd&pd_rd_i=B07L3CLM2B&pd_rd_r=b9786423-1f6c-44cc-8dd6-dcb56c6efb3e&pd_rd_w=zdTcM&pd_rd_wg=BXqIZ&pf_rd_p=64aaff2e-3b89-4fee-a107-2469ecbc5733&pf_rd_r=P0K4P31H3CHVNMDHDK2Y&qid=1564604955&s=electronics&sprefix=2.5%2Celectronics%2C219
In total 6TB of SSD STorage :D for your amazing blade
Or the newer model like i have. Works perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01MZA1AB2/
But it sounds like either this router is screwed up or Windows.
Yeah so I found out that Microsoft sells this additional adapter for $24, here is a link. It allows high throughput essentially and firmware updates, but I'm just going to stick with it plugged in. I also found a 10 ft micro USB cable on Amazon for like $6-8, so that'll be plenty.
Analogue devices will never show anywhere in the device manager.
Also you need to contact HyperX support. My guess is that Blade and this headset have different 4-pole plug layout (PS4 vs PC)
You might need something like this (double-adapter yay) if contacting both support departments leaves you with nothing
This is the best stand ever:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasics-Single-Monitor-Display-Mounting/dp/B00MIBN16O
Thanks so much for the insight. I will go with 2560x1080.
Leaning towards this LG 34UC79G-B, but I'm going to do a bit more research before I commit.
"Razer Naga Chroma" and "Razer Naga Epic Chroma" are two different devices. They dug themselves into a hole naming the "Naga Epic Chroma" before the "Naga Chroma" existed.
The "Naga Epic Chroma" was released shortly after the "Naga", it had wireless and chroma support.
The "Naga Chroma" was a remake of the original "Naga" with Chroma compatibility, but without the "epic" wireless feature.
Since the "Naga Chroma" was released later than the "Naga Epic Chroma", the "Naga Chroma" got Synapse-3 support but the "Naga Epic Chroma" hasn't yet, and might never.
There is also the "Naga Trinity" which is an upgrade of the "Naga Chroma" with 3 different side panels for different button layouts.
TL;DR: If you want the wireless, you're kinda shit outta luck and need to use Synapse 2. If you don't care about wireless and want to use Synapse 3, return it and get the "Naga Chroma" or "Naga Trinity" instead.
Edit: Also some say Synapse 2 is better than 3, but I've personally had more problems with 2 than 3, so I'd rather use one with 3 compatibility.
Sure, https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-EVO-2TB-MZ-V7E2T0BW/dp/B07C8Y31G1/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1542939447&sr=8-3&keywords=2tb+nvme
That was just the first thing that popped up, I'm sure there are others.
The most recent Razer Mamba wireless has a good optical sensor, good wireless battery life, and if you end up not using wireless you can just leaving it plugged in and use it that way:
https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Mamba-Wireless-Programmable-Gaming/dp/B07GBYYSMF/
It's the one I'm using with my computer right now. No issues, battery lasted 2-3 days at work when used wirelessly.
I got this Sabrent USB 3.1 Aluminum Enclosure for M.2 NVMe SSD in Gray (EC-NVME) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K4TZQ7D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_RcroDbJZ2A0HV.
Then I searched for a free SSD clone and did it that way. I can't remember what one I used. YouTube helped a bunch.
Thanks, Using a combo of these 2 (I sprayed them silver) :

Actually they do have two listed but the details are off (lists both QHD and 4K resolutions) and the timing looks like it is basically a random guess.

I bought this before I got the Razer Armor case. I'd really recommend this if you're looking for a sleeve for your blade.
Just installed 32 gb RAM and it won't turn on even after waiting for a good 10 Minutes with the blank screen? I was able to turn it on with the original RAM once I put it back in. Does anyone know if its because the RAM I bought is bad? purchased this RAM https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XRBS4Y5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Could just be cause the mouse is 5 years old,
Here’s an amazon link for the updated DeathAdder they put out last year - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AAS888S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_DxeQAbS51A5XD ($40)

^boom what is this huh? Oh damn it seems to be a nice TKL mechanical keyboard for 32 dollars. Weird. Thought they didn’t exist
Actually I'm slightly confused about the Amazon listing - some reviews say it glows blue, while others say this is the green 2013 version. I'm not sure how Amazon works, or if this is a "roll-forward" of old + new reviews for the newest product in the line. Do you think I should buy this or go for a source that explicitly says 2013 or the official site?

What you ordered was the Razer Blade 14 not the Pro. So if you want the Pro, go ahead and cancel. My suggestion is not to get the Pro however. That thing is loud as fuck. Also they haven't made a new version of the Pro this year, so if you want that one I'd wait.
My suggestion would be to buy a stealth, a core, a gtx 1080TI and a monitor. You can get all that for easily under 4000 dollars. If you need a portable that can do more than the Stealth, just get the Razer Blade 14 (2017) and the same set up I suggested. It'll still be around 4000 dollars.
Some quick Maths:
Total: $3496/$3796 + tax
And you still have room to buy a highend keyboard, mouse and/or headset.
