Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!

  1. I'm not sure what my all time favorite is(Possibly Expelliarmus by Digital Nails? Definitely one of my favorites) but my current favorite is OPI Alcatraz... Rocks. It's so sparkly and it's from the San Francisco collection, and I definitely have a lot of awesome memories of that place.

  2. I'm 21, turning 22 in a bit less than 4 months.

  3. I'm in college, and I'm the youngest there because most people in my country start college around age 24.

  4. My parents moved to the US when I was a baby so I grew up there and moved here when I was about 10.

  5. I've been dreaming to permanently move to another country(Preferably the US or Canada) since I moved here years ago.

  6. I love animals, used to have a dog(had her since I was 11, she passed away last December) and now I have a lovely kitty that I've already posted a few pictures of before.

  7. By the time I turned 12 I had moved 9 times, including to a different continent.

  8. I had bells palsy for half a year as a kid(and now am slightly concerned I might be getting it again because one eye is watering like crazy and blinking more slowly, plus on the same side I can't taste anything)

  9. My favorite color is blue but I can't find a polish in the specific shade, sort of a super bright baby blue with a neon pop to it. I don't have many blue polieshes(5 or 6) but I have a fuck ton of pinks, especially neon pink.

  10. I really really like burritos and mac and cheese but neither are available in this country(not anything even close to good at least. They only have avocados during the season a certain time of year, which sucks because I love that stuff)

As for polishes I'd like Essie A Cut Above or China Glaze Ruby Pumps, both US shipping because my dad is on business trips there a lot and said I can ship stuff to him and he'll bring it over when he comes back.

I nominate /u/MommyDiDi She's like a polishing fairy godmother. I've seen a few of the packages she's sent to people. They are adorable and thoughtful, and she deserves a gift of her own :)

She needs this off her WL so she can be ready for spring! She could also use some nail art brushes. The ones on her WL don't ship to canada but I believe these ones do at least I hope XD.

I'm in love with this shade of blue

This mani is easy to do. I just folloed this tutorial then made the little white swirl with a nail art brush. and popped on a little rhinestone.

we all deserve a little polish!

  1. I have always been crafty thanks to my mom. You can usually find me making wreaths, jewelry, cards, jewelry displays, wall art, bath bombs and other various things that catch my attention. I'd really like to try making candles again and my husband has a spoken interest in soap.

  2. I'm turning 30 in Sept and it has me way more bummed out than it should. Hopefully I'll get over it, but birthdays usually aren't the best for me.

  3. I am happily married to my husband Nate. He's my better half. We'll have been married for 5 years this October.

  4. I CANNOT eat coleslaw. It makes me physically ill thanks to my kindergarten teacher forcing me to eat it and me then throwing it up.

  5. Besides my issue with #4, I love food and trying new things. I am not a picky eater at all and live by my parents rule of try it at least once and always retry disliked foods after a few years.

  6. I used to figure skate and was in ice shows in the winter and summer.

  7. I collect bouncy balls, elephants, owls, daisies, shoes, vintage dresses and jewelry.

  8. I own 1800 polishes.

  9. I have two dogs, Emmett and Swarley, both are Cocker Spaniels.

  10. My favorite polish...that's a hard one. I have so many. I adore my VHTFs. So my Cult Nails Clairvoyant and my Clarins 230. Also my OPI Jasper Jade as it's one my mom bought me. But there are a ton of others I love as well.

Nubar "Raspberry Truffle" is a polish that just recently caught my eye. It would be $5.24 with shipping.

Welcome! We're happy to have you here! :)

I'm like you and love bright colors but I recently found this color. Now it doesn't look as pink as the picture. I didn't use it for a French mani. Here's what it looked like on my nails. I really liked how it turned out. And that was after 4 days of wearing it.

What is your favorite brand of polish?

I could definitely use this base coat, I'm totally out and my manis are chipping so quickly! I haven't used this one yet but Orly has great products so I figure it's gotta be at least ok :-D I'd prefer Orly Bonder but it's a bit over budget so it'll have to wait.

(On this wishlist <3)

Rather than filing the surface you might try buffing it. Here is what most buffing blocks look like, you can usually find them in any drugstore for $2 or less. They are even numbered with the order to use each side, and you don't have to use them all. When I buff my nails I only use the coarsest side (Side 1). The only issue with these are that they are kind of large and it is sometimes hard to get a good buff on small nails like toe nails. Usually filing the surface of a nail is a no no, because if you file to deeply you can get down to the nail bed, which can cause infection (especially bad if you already suspect a possible fungus).

I apologize that I don't know any anti-fungals, the only knowledge I have of that is when my room mate had a toe fungus from a salon and had to use a prescription treatment. It worked, I think she had to use it for 30 days straight. Good luck, I hope there's something easier than that available to you!

This basic wall rack is good for anyone with under 100 polishes. Assuming she's okay with having them out in the open. Though I hung mine in my walk in closet so it's on display but No one ever sees it.
