You'd be much happier with the APP Sight Feeder. The Tac50 is more form over function whereas the Sight Feeder is a more tried & true design.
I have some in a foam covered case (Edit: something like this, though I wouldn't pay so much for it) and I wrap the rest in the shirt and pants I play with.
I already carry way too much stuff to the field each time, a gunbag would be anther extra piece of kit.
If you want to run off 12grams but aren't concerned about stock class, get a phantom instead. You could probably run the Azodin with a 12gram changer straight into the vert ASA (remove the reg and grip ASA).
As far as "pluggin it in", you need a 12 gram quick change adapter.
