You can do each muscle group at the same time.

The way I learned it was to tense each area for around 5 seconds and then let go for 10, concentrating on how different it feels between tensed and relaxed.

Lay on your bed. Start from the bottom and work your way up as follows:

Feet - curve your toes up and tense your feet, hold, relax & repeat

Legs - Straighten legs, point toes towards face, hold, relax & repeat

Abdomen - tense stomach muscles as if preparing to be punched, hold, relax & repeat

Back - arch back, hold, relax & repeat

Shoulders/neck - shrug your shoulders, bringing them up and in, press your head back, hold, relax & repeat

Arms - Stretch out your arms and hands, hold, relax & repeat

Face - tense forehead and jaw by lowering your eyebrows and biting, hold, relax & repeat

Whole body - tense entire body (feet, legs, abdomen, back, shoulders, neck, arms and face), hold, relax, repeat.

Some people may feel tense after going through this exercise, in which case you can either repeat the entire thing or just the muscles that are tense (it should be repeated until you feel completely relaxed). Once the exercise is over, you should spend a few minutes relaxing your mind.

Finally, try to practise this routine twice a day until you start to feel relaxed first time.

I learned it from this book: Overcoming Anxiety: A Books on Prescription Title (Overcoming Books) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1849018782/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Sh8tyb3QMZ7W5 which was recommended to me by my GP.

I was listening to a radio show and there was a couple counselor on talking about the way men and women think. The way she said it made a lot of sense to me so maybe it will make sense to you too.

She said men think like waffles, women think like spaghetti.

To expand on that, men typically think in more compartmentalized way. They get into a thought and they are there, they don't usually think outside what they are focusing on so it can lead to issues in relationships when a man is trying to focus on something and a woman will ask about something out side that pocket. The man has to take some time to 'move' to another part of the waffle.

She explained that women typically think in a more entangled way. When you hear a story from a women, many times it may feel like the beginning of the story isn't going to lead to a conclusion because woman's thoughts are more 'knotted' and intertwined with each other. She stated an example where in dating, odd ball things will remind them of their partner because of some long thought process that is intertwined with thoughts about her relationship.

I think I got that right, it's been a few years since I've heard it but it made sense. If you are curious to hear it better explained, there was a website that explains it better: https://rockyourmarriage.org/men-like-waffles-women-like-spaghetti/

and a book by the couple I heard on the radio: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0736919619/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=andreaforten-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=0736919619&linkId=abacf79d5f0e8afb535541bfa4ca0be3

If you can find a copy, "Absinthe: History in a Bottle" does a great job of describing the rise, use/abuse/fascination by famous artists, scandals attributed to, and eventual ban of Absinthe. Great book if, like me, you really wish you could try the real deal.

Loofah sponges suck.

I'm all about these exfoliating towels:

The soap lathers up great with these, it's coarse enough to scrub grease stains off your body and it's super easy to scrub your back with one of these. I hate it when I'm staying in a hotel and I don't have one of these.

If anyone wants to know one of the people that contributed to this crisis, read The Mastermind: Drugs. Empire. Murder. Betrayal.

It's amazing what one really smart person can do.

So use no-aluminium deodorant. Only the antiperspirant has it. There's also antiperspirant that uses cotton by Adidas - that stuff is nice.

I don't use aluminium antip and haven't for a decade+, but there are TONS of alternatives to not using anything at all.

EDIT: It's called Adidas Cotton Tech. Here's a link to Amazon though there are several listings for it. I bought it at a drugstore in Canada. I don't know if it's on the shelves elsewhere.

I remember reading the book John Bird (one of the founders of the "Big Issue" magazine) wrote for the Quick Reads project. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Change-Your-Steps-Quick-Reads/dp/0091907039 He talks about working with the homeless, and how important it is to focus on small manageable steps - 3%. The fact that he's showing up for the shift, and staying for the duration that's a start. You just keep adding little bits more and more.

Race-a human population partially isolated reproductively from other populations, whose members share a greater degree of physical and genetic similarity with one another than with other humans. The commonest being the Caucasian, Mongoloid, and Negro, characterized by supposedly distinctive and universal physical characteristics--Oxford Medical

Race (human categorization)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_(human_categorization)

Race is the classification of humans into groups based on physical traits, ancestry, genetics or social relations, or the relations between them.[1][2][3][4][5] First used to refer to speakers of a common language and then to denote national affiliations, by the 17th century race began to refer to physical (i.e. phenotypical) traits. The term was often used in a general biological taxonomic sense,[6] starting from the 19th century, to denote genetically differentiated human populations defined by phenotype.[7][8]

Minorities crying were instrumental in turning the scientific consensus against the validity of race in the 1960s

"Increasingly women and younger persons
entered the discipline. In the 1960s,
during their graduate training, they were
exposed to and some participated in the
social movements concerned with civil
rights, gender equality, and opposition to
the war in Viet Nam37. Defenders of the
race concept may prefer to portray the rejection
of race as being a politically correct
response. Instead, it is proposed that
their social experiences of discrimination
and awareness of the use of racism to excuse
the slaughter of millions in the Holocaust
and in the massacres of World War
II stimulated their sensitivity to the new
natural science data and concepts and enabled
them to reject the concept of race."

"One was based on clinal variations
noted above. In the second the differences
between human societies were
conceived as cultural ethnic groups in
which one or more populations were identified
on the basis of »behavior, customs,
or genealogy (descent)«26. This is a cultural
distinction that avoids explaining differences
between groups on the basis of
race or genetic determinism, although regrettably,
some use ethnicity to refer to
biological races as in The Bell Curve38."

This is most likely the reason the IQ level for retarded was lowered, as the standard deviation meant the overwhelming majority of the black population was considered mentally retarded

As you can see, it has nothing to do with science as it way it was overturned as a definition, but feels

So, the trick to getting the garlic smell out of your hands is to 'wash' your hands with a stainless steel bar of 'soap' - totally kills any smell and cheap, too!
