Hi! It looks like you're using Scotch Tape to hold together your wounds.

While scotch tape/normal sticky tape may work to hold your wounds together, they are by no means medical grade or sterile, which means that using them may increase your chance of an infection and basically make your situation worse rather than better.

While pulling the edges of your cuts together may help promote faster healing and less scarring, it's best to do it with steri-strips, that are designed to be sterile and as a bonus won't leave sticky tape residue on the inside of your wound.

Your posting history says you're in Canada so I've linked you a few places you can get them.

Here's a pack of 60 steri strips for $8.30: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004WFXCSQ/ref=pd_aw_fbt_121_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=2D0ZWJ4E8BFGDQ7PWX5Z. Could you afford that, darling? If not, I can try to find a way to purchase them (I live with my parents because I'm 16 and I don't think they'd let me buy them but I can try my hardest to find a way to get them) and send them to you, if you're okay with sharing your address with me. And okay, but what is it that you'd ask your doctor to prescribe?

OK. What about a workbook? This one is good and can be had for 12 bucks. Emotion regulation is a set of skills you can learn with practice. A therapist is super helpful but if you can't make that work then a workbook might be better than nothing.

I know everyone has said this, but they could do with being covered up, not just to prevent infection but it will stop them from rubbing/sticking to clothing and they'll heal faster. If you're in the uk amazon do these sterile dressings, they're a good size and cheap (I usually buy a few boxes at a time, surprising how quickly you can get through 20!) If you're elsewhere amazon will have similar if not the same products

There are some forms of wax that melt at a higher temperature, if you find that you need a little more pain to help the urges. High paraffin pillar candles (the ones that stand alone and melt slowly) melt at 130° F, minimum, and is probably the highest temperature wax you can find easily online.

Amazon carries a nice cheap option that I occasionally use for wax play at munches. One of these candles will usually last up to two full-body sessions (usually neck/shoulders to ankles) so if you use them on yourself they'll likely last even longer.
