Both of those cases have pretty specific PSU specs. They want a flexATX PSU, which are usually noisy. I think you get the best mileage out of an HDPlex 400 watt DC-DC psu and a Dell 330 Watt AC-DC adapter
They aren't cheap, but then sffPCs tend to cost a bit more. I've used both in some of my Ultra sff builds and love them.
Of the 1u flex atx PSUs they recommend, I think I'd trust the Seasonic the most. Seasonic makes great PSUs, and It costs less than either of the two components I listed.
There are currently two thin itx AM4 boards, one Lenovo and one Chinesium board on TaoBao. I believe RAM speed is limited on each though, hindering your APU performance. Best bet for an APU is a mini itx x470 board with a little overclocking. My suggestion would be to look at customer photos on this amazon link for a visual example. Guy built a little gaming rig on a MITX board using a 2400g.
With regard to the Hades Canyon NUC, they're great little boxes. This can be extra attractive if you plan to hackintosh because the support is actually pretty good. The only caveat is they are not upgradeable. There has also been success using these with eGPU setups if that's your thing.
Well for mobo's I like Asrock. The quality/price value is hard to beat.
Noctua fans are the best imo, but pricey. SF600 for psu.
L12S for cpu cooler, but you'll need to bend it for it to fit, not sure if you're comfortable doing that. If not there are some other options like the L9i and C7G, but they won't cool as well as the L12S.
If you already have a 2080 then getting a 2070 super is pointless. The 2080 should fit in the Ghost S1, but check measurements.
Yeah im sure. If you have a sfx power supply and nothing unusual in the corner on your motherboard it will fit. Snug, pretty perfect fit, I feel like they should advertise it.
Here is the exact fan I have:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RUZ059O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Check out the Goldenfield N-1. It's around $50 at Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/GOLDEN-FIELD-N-1-Computer-Desktop/dp/B076KC2SBQ/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=golden+field+n-1&qid=1555685328&s=gateway&sr=8-1
At 17 liters it's slightly larger than the SG13 (14 liters), but is more flexible, and can have better temps. I went with it because I was mostly concerned with temps since I live the desert.
The Good:
Fits tower coolers (D15), 120mm fan(s), 2.5-3 slot GPU's (up to 280mm I think), Full sized ATX PS (150mm), and it's super light. It's fairly easy to work with as long as you plan your build.
The Bad: It feels too light/cheap almost, but once it's all screwed down, it's solid enough. The front panel does not breath well. It's twin, the Kolink Satellite looks better, but might be harder to get here in USA.
Definitely the right place.
Got a budget? What gpu? How handy are you?
Infinite rich person budget you go for the Lukos, 17.3in 144hz freesync godliness.
Reasonable 15.6 inch is the Kenowa.
Reasonable 13 inch is the El Crow.
If you are handy and love diy, you can make one out of an laptop panel or ipad panel.
All of them use your gpu, are 1080p+, and are fairly slim.
There is a large discussion on the sff.net forums if you enjoy researching.
I have the case. Fitting a large heat sink in it is no fun. Check this case out. It won't fit the accelero 4, but I'm pretty sure it'll fit the twin turbo. The front panel is trash and adds unnecessary length, imo. I'm not sure if your psu will fit though.

The Cryorig C7 is 47mm, but the S4 mini has a hard height CPU cooler limit of 45mm. 40mm max is recommended to reduce noise. I'm switching out the 15mm thick stock fan for a 13mm thick 140mm fan so that it fits (there could be ram clearance issues depending on your motherboard), but you could go with a smaller cooler like the Noctua L9i or Zalman CNPS2x since your CPU has a lower TDP. The Zalman would also allow room for a 12mm thick 120mm case fan above it if you want one.
One thing to keep in mind is that the waiting list for the S4 mini is long... I requested mine in mid August and am still waiting for my pre-order form.
If you want to make your life a lot easier...and I mean A LOT easier, please consider picking up a set of Silverstone's CP11 Sata cables. I have 5 of them and they arrived black, not blue.

They are super flexible, easy to route, and the connectors are ultra low-profile for those hard to reach places.
Looking at exactly the same combo with the ncase m1 - ordered the 2080 Ti, waiting for the 9900k + a mini-itx board now, but looking at going the aircooling route, most likely a noctua U9S with NF-A9s. Not planning to overclock as mostly going to be used for gaming. Hoping to get an opinion on whether an Accelero will help further lower temps, or better to stick with stock?
That pic isn't from my build but I copied it exactly (besides the GPU). I didn't think of putting a 4th fan between the HDD and the plate. Thanks for the response.
I currently have 3x http://amzn.com/B00KFCR5BA fans, for the one on the HDD i'm wondering if there is a thinner fan with that kinda of quality? maybe this: http://amzn.com/B00NOTVCUQ
Agree, but I was able to solve this really cleanly with these Silverstone SATA cables, runs right under the RAM slots and above the GPU. Works great.
Hmm how about this:
Noctua NH-L12S
https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NH-L12S-low-profile-cooler-quiet/dp/B075SF5QQ8

Seems to support 120mm fan. Would it be better than the Thermal right cooler you cited? Oh wait, you're talking about just the support
Do you have a single or two fan GPU? My single fan GTX 1060 never gets above 70°C. I have this fan on the bottom with a dust filter, for intake to cool the GPU. And I'm using the NH-D9L for the CPU, with a NF-A9 fan on the back of the case directly behind the CPU cooler, pushing air out the back.
Good to know I ordered mine from superbuy/taobao 2 weeks ago. . :)

Would this work? 20$ is pretty cheap compared to the more common 40 neeeded by more and .ore cases
It's this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007YLUCKQ/ref=emc_b_5_t The best way to keep GPU nice and cool in ncase.

This is what I use for my gpu in the Node 202. They work great for me!
you could also check out Seagate 2.5" HDD's they are up to 5TB drives, for $150-200, they don't fit in laptop(big ones, smaller capacity to 1 or 2TB do fit) because they are T H I C C, but will fit just fine in this case
https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Barracuda-2-5-Inch-Internal-ST5000LM000/dp/B01M0AADIX
Honestly I don't know since I've not used it.
To the best of my understanding you do not need the internal ac-dc adapter, but if you don't buy that you will need to buy a power brick to power it. Here is a video about the older 300w model, and another one from Josh - the creator of the S4 Mini.
Alternatively you can look into the g-unique
edit another comment posted something similar, the one I linked seems to be well reviewed, may work better idk
If your motherboard has a USB3.0 or 3.1 gen 1 internal header you can convert it to USB 3.1 gen two (USB c) with this
https://www.amazon.com/LINKUP-Internal-Motherboard-Converter-Adapter/dp/B07WG8ZJ41/ref=gp_aw_ybh_a_10?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=C5QGGWEPBJH07AZYMC6M
Won't get gen2 speeds on gen 1 tho (5gbs vs 10gbs)
From what i understand these fans are in great demand. Very limited availability in US markets with very limited stocks. Few are selling on Amazon and ebay and below are the links -

I am a PC builder. I have purchased from both ebay and amazon
500 Watt Platinum Flex PSU
FSP Group Mini ITX Solution / Flex ATX 80 Plus Platinum 500W PMBus V1.2 High Efficiency Power Supply (FSP500-50FSPT)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N4IGM0O
Your build is very similar to mine! I'm using the H80iV2 and found the exhaust fan install a must. I did it the same way as well. I'm tempted to drill holes in the frame to get rid of the zip ties though.
You may want to consider putting the radiator fan in pull configuration. I found that this helps with getting the airflow moving over the board. I also purchased a vented ATX to SFX bracket to get the most airflow I could out of the little beast.
Lastly, I replaced the radiator fan with a noctua. She isn't quiet while gaming by any means but the fans don't spin up while I'm browsing the internet so I'm happy.
I'm so happy with the case I'm tempted to buy another just to modify it.
I couldn't find LP53 in Canada, I had to order on Amazon US.
I believe the cooler Dan was working on was ended, and he sold the design to some other company who threw out a teaser for it a while ago. Link to the video here. No info, release date, or anything more on it.
Currently your best choice for quiet air cooling in the Dan is the LP53 + Noctua fan.
Nice! Is that a full length (up to 300mm) GPU it will fit? Also how much power can you get out of flex atx PSUs? I can't seem to find any over 400w and I want to be able to run a 1080.
Edit: I found this nice flex atx psu, a bit pricey at $120 but it's platinum rated and 500w which is more than enough for a 1080 ti. https://www.amazon.com/FSP-Solution-Platinum-Efficiency-FSP500-50FSPT/dp/B01N4IGM0O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1503801567&sr=8-1&keywords=500w+flex+atx
That's alright :). I'd recommend getting the scythe big shuriken or the AXP-100 or the Cryorig C7
As for CPU cooler I'd suggest the CRYORIG C7 as its budget and performance are both good for this build at about $30 usd. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0177GTV9U/?tag=pcpapi-20
Something to consider is this type of case does not help the video card much. Some have suggested blower style video cards or a founders edition video card may work much better with lack of case airflow.
Also I am not seeing a mass storage drive is that something you are also planning to add at a later date?
It should be fine, I've heard that people do hear the fan a bit more with this one over the L12. BTW here is the L12s on Amazon
Am I crazy or we not talking about the black nf-a12x25 in the 5th picture? It's the second fan on left. It totally is or is something completely new.
https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NF-A12x25-PWM-Premium-Quality-Quiet/dp/B07C5VG64V
Edit: also a chromax 92mm fan it seems!! If the l9 comes with a black 92mm slim hopefully they will sell that separately too but most likely they won't sell the exact variant.
consider cases that require pico psu (ex. https://www.amazon.com/Morex-Universal-Mini-ITX-Fan-less-Compact/dp/B0087TS1S4?keywords=sff+case&qid=1537324710&sr=8-16&ref=mp_s_a_1_16) because cases supporting sfx psu are still quite big (looking at dan a4 sfx or dr zaber sentry)

I'm using the Morex 557 with the Noctua NHL9A cooler on my 2200G APU build. It's a little toasty but it's not so bad, about 70 degrees on load and mid 50s on idle. It has options for four 40mm fans on one side as well. I should probably mention that I'm on stock settings and have undervolted the CPU.
I want to do this exact build, minus the case(I want to use a Morex 557 and a Pico PSU for the smallest off-the-shelf solution) but I've heard suspect things about this motherboard... I really like it though.
There are ones like these:
If you are using a SATA drive, you will want a thin and more flexible cable. Silverstone makes them in blue and black, and the black can also have fabric wrap for more money.
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00HDEBGSQ/
The HGST is plugged in using the standard cable. I couldn't double mount because of the way the SATA plug is (they don't bend and it's tricky.
The HGST was plugged in by soft mounting but not pushing it all the way down. It's secure, but not 100% locked in. That allows enough clearance for the power plug, though stresses the SATA cable a bit i'll get a right angle plug soon.
The Silverstone fans are these guys: http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Professional-Fine-Tuned-Performance-FN123/dp/B00NOTVCUQ (though I wish they made it in Red).
I don't have the SSD tray any more. But if the connectors are an issue you could either get 180 adapters (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P5R258Q/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=A1C9S0ORKRHST6&psc=1) to reduce the extra height, or make a little cutout, like here: https://www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/e2vtde/first_proper_ssf_build_loving_the_case/
Actually sorry boss I just looked through my browser history. It wasn't nands, it was Amazon Japan. Apparently you can still have it shipped to the US since it's shipped and sold by Amazon.

You're definitely right! It's not as terrible as I thought. That 500w just hurts to look at.

Yup, https://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-Accelero-Xtreme-III-CrossFire/dp/B007YLUCKQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1484968578&sr=8-1&keywords=arctic+accelero+xtreme
There's Noctua's NH-L9i which is a bit shorter
If you get the clicking noise from your SF600 Gold, you can either switch out to an SF600 Platinum or add the NF-A9x14 found in the L9i or L9a. Do not use the separately sold NF-A9x14 as it will not start at the right voltage. If you still use the stock ribbon cables from the SF600 Gold, you can either buy the SF series cable kit, get/make custom cables or buy the SF600 Platinum.
As it currently stands, these are the only two reasons to make the upgrade from the SF600 Gold to its Platinum equivalent until JonnyGuru publishes a review.
You're going to need an external power brick. Those power supplies just convert dc-atx and you will also need AC-DC. I will edit in a few minutes with some bricks.
Edit: Pico psu 160w + brick combo:
http://www.mini-box.com/picoPSU-160-XT-192W-Adapter-Power-Kit
(you can buy the brick separately too)
For the 300w hdplex:
https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Replacement-Alienware-AM18X-6732BAA-compatible/dp/B00CGA5JQM
so something like this for the hdplex?

That board does not have the internal header for front I/O. However, if you have, say, a Dan A4, with only USB-C front I/O, you can convert the USB 3.0 header with an adapter.

5tb 2.5" hard drive. They exist, they're just slow and expensive.
I seriously just took the fan off my evga 1060 and slapped a noctua 92mm fan on the side. Temps improved immensely and now its dead quiet. It even plugged in directly to the gpu. No warranty is voided if you remove the cover properly and put it back on if you need to send it back in.

I don't have any suggestions for cases off the top of my head, but for the hard drive, is the 3.5" drive a hard requirement? They make 2.5" hard drives up to 4 TB, so if you don't need a specific 3.5" drive, that may help you to cut down on size.
Edit: make that 5 TB
Only thing cheaper I can think of is the non modular fsp ones & those really make it hard to work with the limited space for cable management within the K39.
Geeek & some other Chinese sellers might have something cheaper if you look for a Delta or Enhance 400w.
I've already been looking into this a bit for possible options that don't include the connector on the board. Mainly AMD, minus the Impact board. Intel seems to have some options so it's less necessary. So far I found 3 possible options that I will probably try since I just got the Ncase today and there is no ETA on the Impact yet, and availability will probably be terrible.
