I had a couple of Epson WF-3640 All in One printers. Output was great, but unfortunately I didn't use them enough and the nozzles clogged from lack of use. Most of my ink consumption was to clean the nozzles, until they would not clear. And... as expected, the ink was pricey. I gave up on the Epson printers as I still don't print a lot in color.

The replacement is a Canon PIXMA iX6820 along with a box of replacement ink carts from Arthur Imaging. This printer has sat for months with no adverse issues. The replacement ink was inexpensive - about $20 for 28 assorted carts. We can't see any difference between the Canon and Arthur Imaging inks. We haven't done stickers yet, but have printed on regular and photo papers as well as card stock. We have made magnets by printing on paper, attaching to a magnet sheet and cutting out the photo. A lamination kit helps protect them from the weather if used outdoors. We've also made gift tags, 4 x 6 recipe cards, and address labels using Avery products with Avery templates and other templates we found online.

I'm not sure if you need a special type of ink for the stickers, but if this meets your requirements, I would consider this or another similar Canon printer.

I got some on Amazon (this one) that is pretty cool! It’s neon pink in normal lighting, but glows yellow! I used it along with reflective vinyl from the same seller and Cricut gold to make my Chromeo shirts. This was my only HTV project really, so I can’t say how it compares to any other vinyl, but the colors were fun and it ironed on fine for me.

It’s the best price (I don’t personally know the seller) and it’s all good Oracal 651. I will stock up each time I order on colors I use a lot, but then add in random ones. Eventually I will have all of the offered 651 colors, I’m pretty close.

I've tried the hook things, the pointy "weeding pens", but end up back with the tweezers.

Don't think there's a 'best', more of what's your personal preference. I got this and it has worked great for me. Even the smallest cuts/details, I can still weed out easily.

Oh I see. Well, you cannot really go more shallow than "1" I assume. After I cut, I can pull the page off of the bed and remove the stickers individually from the sheet. I believe it scores through the backing some but not enough for the whole sticker to fall out.

It may be a case of the media not being completely appropriate for your needs. I've been happy with

i actually found a really nice set of 50 glossy sheets on amazon, fairly thick, glossy from amazon

I had to play around with the depth for the kiss cut since the paper is so thick but the gloss level is not super aggressive and the quality of the paper is insane for the price

I bought the machine brand new about 2 weeks ago and have only used it for one prior project (also vinyl stickers w/ laminate) and had the same problem then. I used a different laminate on the last project (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0759SV64G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but the vinyl was the same.

I will say that the one thing that's constant is that if I don't do a 2x cut, the cut will always be a kiss cut and won't cut through much of the backing paper (it may cut all the way through slightly in a few places). I'm not super familiar with how these die cutters determine how deep to cut, but my layman's assumption was that the backing paper stopped the cut or something.
