I scoured the lands, through many valleys and frequently was told by soothsayers and breathern that my weakness was TI bands or my LCL. But nay! This explanations, much like a soothsayer reading stars and horoscopes, only partially fit my puzzle but neverthless left me puzzled still.

And then lo, I stumbled upon https://youtu.be/URP-zMbryEc and it explained much! Praise be to Brodin, when next I humbly visited his temple I did as asked and I was blessed with many gainz.

Brodin did not create me in his likeness to continue my ignorant ways. So I did continue my quest for more lore in the dungeons at the Tube of You. And I hunted for armor within the dangers of the Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011PYZNRE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_1vcDCbJC7S345

And the gainz! They were a glory to behold my friend! Praise be to Brodin!

Brother, you will think my answer in jest - but my words come from a place deeper than parallel in mine heart.

Purchase for thine self the cookbook "Fifty Shades of Chicken," for therein lie many easy and wonderful rituals by which birdflesh may be transmuted into gains.

With this and the Modern Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding, your swole will resist all attempts at control. Wheymen.

The best tool for guidance is a basic Anatomy and Physiology textbook, to see all of the muscles, their origins and insertions, and how they generate force. However, that's time consuming and somewhat boring, so here are some quick links to books that have information regarding exercise specificity; i.e. what to do for which muscles you want to work out:

  • Arnold's Newer Book

  • Arnold's Older Book

Still halfway decent and for both genders, despite the title.

  • Starting Strength

Not such a fan of Rippetoe, as I tend to go the bodybuilder route, and strength is less of a priority, but still a good source.

Also, if you're so inclined, a purchasing a single session with a personal trainer to help you sort out your program would do wonders. (Make sure the trainer has some sort of certification, though--B.S. or higher in Sports Medicine/Exercise Science/Athletic Training, ACSM, NCSA, etc.)

I have been looking at one brother, I have read that it's better to get one you can put in the wall on studs in the wall. From what I heard the door ones aren't as safe cause they can slip. But I have not used either. If you can't do that then maybe something like this.

Sportsroyals Power Tower Dip Station Pull Up Bar for Home Gym Strength Training Workout Equipment, 400LBS. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SM8VJ6P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_lfUIDb90XQ4A3

>yohimbine HCL

Is this the stuff you were talking about? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Maximuscle-Thermobol-Definition-Formula-Tablets/dp/B0013G8N4A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1375872534&sr=8-1&keywords=yohimbine+HCL

> ephedrine and caffeine

Is that a pre workout? Got a link to where I can get them? (I'm in the UK).

My current workout routine is a 3 day split twice over one week so:

Day 1: Chest and Biceps

Day 2: Shoulders and Legs

Day 3: Back and Triceps

1 day Rest

Repeat

I used to do Ice Cream Fitness 5x5 program and I was getting stronger but didn't really see aesthetic gains so I switched it up to this doing 8-10 reps and a new routine. What'd you think?

Brad Schoenfeld's M.A.X. Muscle Plan. The plan incorporates lots of variety. It's a fairly long program (26 weeks, I think) that's composed of several mesocycles that alternate between strength and hypertrophy training. Each week (microcycle) changes up the exercises, # of sets, # of reps, rest interval, as well as adding some supersets. In addition to the healthy number of stiff legged dead lifts and good mornings already in the program, it calls for leg curls, leg extensions and leg presses. I don't have those machines in my home gym, so I just did stiff legged deadlifts, trap bar deadlifts, good mornings, Bulgarian split squats or hip thrusters instead.

Brother, you may want to look into Trigger Point therapy

I hope it offers some relief.

Brother, I bid you venture deep into the Amazon where exist perfect armaments to cook the Holy Bird.

A knife and deadly hook will be of aid.

Remember to reach 165 degrees of Fahrenheit at bare minimum to purge the agents of Broki from the flesh. His servant salmonella with it's punishing diarrhea and vomiting threatens to steal thy gains. Also, I think it is tastiest at 170°-180°.

375°F with a coating of regular olive oil followed by hearty spicing of oregano and rosemary is how I eat the Bird. Best cooked in a deep glass casserole dish where the chicken covers the whole bottom; it will soak in its own rich juices. 2.5-3lb (three large breasts) cooks in about 75 minutes.

I personally acquired my own implements from Brodin's Building (Bodybuilding.com) however I note that the Amazonians offer similar implements to my own for only $10 (Amazon) with free shipping if a Prime friend of their tribe. Other than being a Captain of Crush, any recommendations for grip training for endurance?

> iPhone in pocket.

Bluetooth stereo headset. This is what I've been using for 3+ years. Works like a champ. I also use an iPhone and it is just perfect.

If they are concerned about your joints, perhaps picking up Saint Pavel's book, Super Joints, and adding those drills to your morning routine will help, especially if you do the drills with them?

I am going to guess that you are a teenager and living at home, thus your parent's conerns have more impact on your life than they might otherwise. Do your research about the long term benefits of strength training. Performing your prayers as a teenager actually helps build up your bone density and can protect you from breaks up to your 70's. Adding muscle mass when you are young also protects you as you age.

Possibly, also, finding articles about aged body builders (such as the gentleman in India who just passed away at 104 years of age), and talking about how the leading indicator of mortality in the elderly is a lack of muscle mass- regardless of other health concerns.

If their concerns are really for your joints, ask them to join you on your joint mobility drills. Be cautious of your knees, mine are long gone and I miss them- my right knee is in nearly constant pain, so that is a very valid concern, as a parent, but there is much bad information out there on how our prayers are bad for joints. They are not. If you do, and present your research well, hopefully your parents will respect that you are making an informed decision.
