6'6" 180lbs current college student here. I've found dockers 11" shorts to be an amazing fit for me, you can get them from kohls for pretty cheap right now.

In terms of t-shirts, I'm in the same boat with Old Navy. Great comfortable shirts at a very good price.

For pants, levi 511s come in 32x36L and they fit me great. I picked mine up off of amazon, quick and easy.

Those are my favorite tall items to date, and they're all pretty affordable buys.

I always recommend checking out Calvin Klein, although they are definitely more pricey. My personal favorite are their Steel Micro Low Rise Trunk, but they are most definitely out of your price range. Honestly, the underwear will last you a long time. I saved up some money and just bought sets of 4 of black, gray, white, dark blue. It's enough to hold me over for almost 2 weeks without doing laundry.

Keep in mind their trunks, and not boxer briefs, so they are technically smaller. CK makes actual boxer briefs though, just look around.

For the record, I'm 6'4", ~185 lbs, 32-34 waist.

Please, give this a shot: Levis STF (http://amzn.com/B0018OHP0K).

I'm a skinny 6'1". I ordered the 36 waist, 40 inseam, and after the shrink, they fit great (just slightly relaxed once they're loosened up from the day).

On amazon, you can order any size you want.

https://www.amazon.com/Port-Company-Tall-Cotton-Poly/dp/B00GZ0QAB2 I tried these. Material isn't as good but the fit seems similar. I'm going to order a few more. It's as happy as I've been so far.

Ones that are specifically excellent for that:Ecco Biom Lite. They are very comfy, light, and make my feet actually look a bit small.

Note: I usually wear US11.5, but in these I take 44/10.5, and they fit like a well-oiled glove. I'm on my 2nd pair, and wouldn't mind buying another if they offered more colors.

These Dickies shirts have a pocket and fit me well. I wear a large tall and am 6’5” and 195 lbs. They’re made of a thick material too. I like them quite a lot.

Going to post another Amazon link to some plain tees:

Gildan 2000T. I've order over 15 of these and love them. I get black, grey, white, and blues.

This is precisely what you're looking for.

EDIT: Just realized you said sweatshirts. I'm not sure P&O has those, but it's worth looking into. I just moved from the high north to the deep south again, so... clearly I haven't checked.

TSLA compression on amazon. They have a longer inseam so they dont ride up over the gut when doing situps or something. Good for us tall folks. And cheap.

Yeah so did mine, but I never knew it was a problem until I got tall which wasn't until I was like 17 (I was a little late). The drying rack really is awesome. Apparently outside of Canada/US (especially in Korea/Japan) they are everywhere.

We have one of these types but the taller standup ones like this also work in small spaces, though for way less clothes.

I bought these a while back and they seem to be unavailable, but maybe it can put you on the right track. I do like them.

for god sake don't recommend this. My flatmate has been through 2 of these wooden hangers.

I've been using one like this one http://www.amazon.com/Home-Basics-Clothes-Dryer-3-Tier/dp/B006H31VT8/ref=sr_1_70?ie=UTF8&qid=1412995498&sr=8-70&keywords=metal+clothes+drying+rack but not necessarrily this specific one for years now.

Here is the exact shirt I purchased: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002I6LSWI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They have several V-Neck variations with different materials and depth of the V.

This is the one I use.
