This is the basis of calculus. An infinitesimal (1/Infinity) can both = 0 and > 0. When calculus was first presented to the math community, they saw this and called it a bunch of liberal hippie bullshit. It took ~100-150 years for calculus to be fully formalized and accepted within the math community, but it was immediately accepted in the engineering community because it worked. If you’re interested, I highly recommend Everything and More: A Compact History of Infinity by David Foster Wallace

PSA for any smokers with even the slightest thought about quitting: look up the book "Allen Carr's Easy Way To Stop Smoking", read all of those sweet sweet reviews, and find yourself a copy!!! It sounds impossible, but it really works - I used to be a heavy smoker and was incredibly skeptical at first, but I told myself that I'd at least read the book even if I wasn't ready to quit. I've now been smoke free for 6 months, and I've never felt better. Addiction is nothing to joke about!! Smoking is a hard habit to quit, but you can do it!

I'd be glad to learn it too, since the idea wasn't anything unique. It's Sengoku jieitai or A Long Time Until Now once again...

I recently read a book called Wild and Crazy Guys about that group of comedians and he did a fairly lengthy section about how stunned Chevy was that none of his "friends" showed up to roast him and how mean all of the comments were.

Apparently after the taping, Paul Scheffer went to his hotel room and Chevy just looked at him and said "is this really my legacy?"

Just because you never heard of a keyless ignition system doesnt mean people are dumb. They technically dont have keys.
