Neat. Always love to see DIY solutions.

But a 4x4 grow tent can be had for under ~$100 on Amazon. So it's really not much of a cost benefit overall unless you need/want something custom or are wary of buying a tent online.

Also one suggestion, using the 'mirrored' mylar (or "Metallized Polyester Film", Mylar is a brand name, to find cheaper stuff, search for the generic name) can cause reflective hot spots that can cause random spots of light burn or other such issues. For DIYers, look for film with a matte or flat finish or, if you're handy with a sewing machine and can find it cheaply, use polyester mylar coated fabric (most prebuilt grow tents use "600d oxford mylar fabric").

> ... stuff that takes too long to make while high...

But OP isn't interested in stuff that is "fairly easy to make". I think em48 has a philosophy wherein the cooking is as much a part of the experience as the eating is, so I don't think she's exactly looking for what you suggest. You're suggesting a stoner bachelor cookbook, she wants foodie ent cookbook, which I posit is just a foodie cookbook.

So something like this is kinda what you suggest, but not really what OP wants.

I just kinda am against the premise that a cookbook for when I'm high would be different from a cookbook when I'm not.

I'm broke. Can you send me a review copy? Or, we could swap.
