black and decker book has been a good resource for me.

It is very detail oriented and all the concepts scale. It has several different platform designs for a single tree, and good info on pulley systems if you build on the ground and raise it.
The book won't mention however the thing you are really looking for.. it is called a TAB (Treehouse Attachment Bolt). they are rated for ridiculous weight and only require a single insertion spot so you don't kill the tree. If you are really curious for details beyond a youtube video of attaching it watch treehouse masters on whatever channel it comes on (discovery or animal planet i think)...they almost always show them attaching it.
That looks like the front of your house. I’d make sure you don’t create an attractive nuisance or something that would attract kids to climb up and potentially hurt themselves.
If that’s not an issue some ideas:

There are a lot of products that hunters use to get into deer stands. There are also mountable platforms. Look up “deer stands” on amazon.
To account for swaying I planned on using a poorman's treehouse sliding bracket system with a uhmw spacer. I'll leave 3 to 4 inches lateral "play" to give the tree enough room to dance.

Thanks for the rubber tire trick. I have a few old tires stashed around the property. But when you say rubber between the anchors please help me envision this, are you saying put rubber between the tree and beam so on the side to side motion the beam does not smack the tree sideways and damage the tree that way?
