I actually agree. Eggs were hard for me and I still miss them. Then I think about the video I watched of the male chicks getting ground up alive and that nips my cravings in the bud. That being said- They were my favorite and I’m still hunting for a replacement.

I’ve heard of the Just Egg- which looks amazing but really pricey to include in my regular diet.

I just got some kala namak black salt. When added to a tofu scramble it’s supposed to make it taste more like eggs. I haven’t tried it yet but it really smells like eggs! I’m excited to try. I’ll update here when I do.

Here are the ingredients I used:

  • Whole wheat pizza dough purchased from grocery store (ball of raw dough)
  • Marinara Sauce from Veganomicon
  • Life Changing Mozzarella (doubled the recipe) from Fuss Free Vegan: 101 Everyday Comfort Foods
  • red onion
  • red pepper
  • sauteed mushrooms
  • green olives


    I'm going to freeze them to have on hand for late-night snacks!


    One ball of dough made 10 pizza pockets (3 not pictured). I have about 1 cup of mozzarella left, and 2 cups of marinara left... which is the perfect amount to make vegan hamburger helper lasagna with tomorrow :)

Looks awesome! Check out these containers I got off of amazon, the lids fit all 3 sizes and they’re used in professional kitchens and delis. Non BPA, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe! You could also get some bento boxes but these deli containers are awesome for more than just meal prepping 👍
