I second the idea of just doing it yourself. The sylvania kit the other commenter posted will work just fine if you’re doing it by hand. If you have a powered drill then I’d recommend this 3M one instead. Worked great for me on two separate vehicles.

I just did my headlight myself using a kit I got off Amazon. Worked amazing. Took me 1 hour.

Here is the kit if you are interested.

SYLVANIA - Headlight Restoration Kit - 3 Easy Steps https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00429NKWK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_k2CGDb2C87APJ

Edit: $20 bucks for this kit.

Again.
$40 amplified antenna

$40 Amazon FireTV Stick
Or
$90 FireTV

+

Kodi

+

Specto

The antenna will give you free local channels

FireTV can give you streaming channels + apps for streaming from channels if you have someone generous enough to provide their cable/satellite login. So we have live streaming of Fox Sports, ESPN, CNN and some more.

and Kodi for every TV Show/Movie. There's add-ons for live tv that's hit or miss but definitely improving

Right on the Vue page it lists what local channels are available. Same with Sling and it's not many

Edit: I don't get your point of trying to cut cords if you're still subscribing to every streaming service available? At that point wouldn't satellite be cheaper?

15 years here and I still can’t even swallow a glass of tap water. Installed an RO system under my sink with a remineralization stage. The end result is silky soft, slightly alkaline water that is better than bottled waters. Amazon Link

It also has a 1:1 waste ratio which is the highest efficiency on the market, making it eco friendly as well. I have very little plumbing skills and it was not difficult to install at all.

Fake cameras on amazon even have flashing lights. Pretty easy and 7 bucks.

This stuff is amazing:

You should keep it on-hand if you have a dog with ear problems. This stuff works great for regular cleaning:

I also second the recommendation for Horizon, they're great there, and fairly priced. Sorry, I'm not sure how much a consult is, but you can call.

Currently $37 bucks! totally worth it. I was lucky I had a dish to take down so I could reuse cabling and pole. I'm just under 30 miles line of site to the towers (point towards green valley ranch, then adjust with an app on your phone). I have 2 Samsung LED TVs, one is 5 years old the other 10. The 10-year-old tuner picks up more channels.

I'm pretty sure Kazoo is making a joke about stealing my new bike, lol. So I'm not giving you that info.

But this is the lock I used: Kryptonite KryptoLok Series 2 Standard Heavy Duty Bicycle U Lock with 4ft Flex Bike Cable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005YPK8G2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_UyYUCb50VK507

I'm sure there are better locks, but it seemed to make the bikes next to mine look more attractive to thieves than mine was (when I used it!). I always put the front wheel, frame, and whatever I was locking to through the U and then ran the cable through my rear wheel.

Get a swamp cooler or “evaporative cooler”. It’s basically a fan/humidifier. They have a tray where you can put ice for cooler air.

Amazon: Honeywell 470-659CFM Portable Evaporative Cooler, Fan & Humidifier with Ice Compartment & Remote, CL201AE, Silver

For lotion, those “therapy” lotions that have a thick consistency work well for me.

Amazon: Eucerin Intensive Repair Lotion - Rich Lotion for Very Dry, Flaky Skin

For nose? Afrin. Always. Never run out. Costco bulk packs.

Remember: it’s frequently sunny in Vegas. Blackout shades for windows or window tinting in home and car is recommended. I have “limo” tint on my car (considered darkest and illegal in Cali). I have been pulled over for speeding a few times and never received complaints about my tint (speaking of speeding, Ace Law Group can reduce speeding tickets to illegal parking—reducing the price and preventing points on your license. I’ve used them. It works.)

For indoor tinting, Amazon: Yzakka Light Filtering Window Film Anti UV No Glue Sun Control Heat Control

I would recommend sun lotion, but it has been said they cause cancer themselves. Do your research on it.

Get an umbrella (🎵ella, ella, ay, ay, ay🎵)

Careful driving when it rains. For some reason, its slicker—especially on offramps.

good luck.

For normal driving, I use this. I’ve used this for several years now, and it’s held up perfectly. If you want something sturdier, ram mounts are the way to go. I use this on off road trails without any issues, so street/highway driving won’t be a problem.

  1. Regular bug spray outdoors; keep your property free of insects so there's nothing for them to eat. That's a long game and won't be effective until next year.

  2. Immediate answer: Population control. Get a black light and a boot/flyswatter/predator drone/whatever and smash the ones you find outdoors each evening until you can't find them any more. They're usually at the bases of the block walls, rocks and the house stucco after 10pm. You'll be able to easily see them 15 feet away with the black light.

If they're coming inside, wander around with the black light after the house has been dark for an hour to see if they're on any of your baseboards/walls. They mostly come at night... Mostly.

Spread out the DE like Gibus mentioned.

Edit: Just to be clear, regular bug spray doesn't do anything to them since they don't absorb it, so DE and stomp & smash is pretty much it unless you go with some much nastier poisons.

This one right here should work well for you:

St. Thomas, NV, is a ghost town located 65 miles northeast of Las Vegas, within the boundaries of Lake Mead National Recreation area (just past Valley of Fire, where VoF Highway meets Northshore). It was founded in 1865 and existed for more than 70 years until it was flooded by Lake Mead following construction of the Hoover Dam. St. Thomas sat underwater for more than six decades until drought exposed the ruins in 2002.

I took this photo in late 2018 looking east toward the Gentry Store and, behind it, the town's post office.

For those interested, I wrote a novel set in the town, Lords of St. Thomas (Amazon, Goodreads), that is based loosely on the final resident to leave the town in 1938. There is also a history book written on the town, St. Thomas: A History Uncovered, which I recommend!
