Factory sealed DVD
> It is normally obtainable merchandise.
Badly phrased, sorry. :)
What I meant was, since the OP says he's looking for "official" merchandise, he may also have in mind to make purchases to support the series. Resales are OK, but they are removed from the initial profit stream. It could be argued that resales support the initial sales in some sort of economic flow (the initial purchaser must have some confidence he can offload it on somebody else at some point), but not directly in any case.
If I want to support the series directly by buying stuff, my options are actually fairly limited, as the OP has found. Domestically, I can buy the official manga volumes, and the one DVD, from the domestic companies Yen Press and Sentai, respectively. The Sega Prize figure and the Good Smile nendoroid are also available on Amazon, but I'm not sure how that works -- if those are directly imported by Sega and Good Smile, or if there's a third party importer involved.
I would love to collect the Japanese stuff, as well, from a reputable source like Amazon Japan. Besides all the manga published by Square Enix (I imagine that's got to be the most direct way to financially support Nico Tanigawa short of mailing them envelopes stuffed with money), there are oddities like the WataMote Radio CDs. I particularly like this one that has Tomoko wearing a clothes hanger on her head.

But even there, it doesn't appear that there's much stuff left. When the anime was going, there appeared to be a few minor tie-in things--a couple of official shirts, a hand fan with pictures from the anime printed on them...
holy shit, that is adorable!!
Honestly, it really baffles me why they haven't tried. I'd settle for a cheap plush made with average materials if it turns out like the cheap Hatsune Miku I bought:

The authors and Square have to push this before the series ends!! Time is going too quickly!!! D:
REMEMBER help support nico tanigawa.

I am figuratively dying of laughter, without having even read the translation.

I was remembering correctly about reading an article about how Cyndi Lauper was going to sing some Gundam covers, though, looking at this Amazon page for the album Ai Senshi Z×R, the album of Gundam cover tunes performed by American guitarist and vocalist Richie Kotzen, according to one of the reviews there was an apology from Cyndi Lauper included within the album saying that she wasn't able to perform when the album was being recorded.
