I’ve used lots of 3rd party straps. Currently have this one from Fullmosa on and I’m very happy with it.

I recently bought this leather band off of Amazon. It's very affordable and comes in many different Colors. I really like the stylish/classy look it adds to my Steel HR Sport. Thought you guys might be interested.

Which sucks. I currently own the Fitbit Charge and persoanally don't want a smartwatch. This watch was the next best thing as it kept the analog look but still allowed me (I hoped) to track the only thing I care about (calories). And it's on sale on Amazon for $99 right now.

I got my leather ones from Barton, via Amazon.

I highly recommend them :)

Such a shame, the product had such good promise. Hopefully all can be fixed with software and firmware updates.

Watches were all $5, knives were between $1 and $10. It was awesome. They had nicer stuff marked up, but it seems the look of the activité lead them to believe it was just a regular watch.

I bought two leathermans for a dollar each, along with a bunch of other knives. I also got this Nixon watch for $5.

It used to be absolutely terrible, to the point that I didn't even bother replacing my first-gen Steel HR (which had condensation problems due to a manufacturing issue) and got a Skagen Hybrid Connected instead.

That had its own issues (mostly under-reporting steps, particularly when starting/stopping often), and I gave Withings another crack after they got re-acquired from Nokia Health and started pushing out updates.

One of the first of those updates re-did the whole thing, and I haven't had any complaints since. I've previously used my phone (Sleep As Android), several Pebble watches (both with the Misfit app, and later Pebble's own) as well as the above Skagen, and I think the current Withings implementation is the best I've used. It even somehow picked up a few hours of sleep on an economy flight to Singapore last year, which is something I've never seen a sleep tracker do before.

I'm not allergic to Nickel or Cobalt, but I did find the silicone band irradiating. I replaced the silicone band with a canvas NATO band and haven't had any more issues. If the case itself is causing irritation, a NATO style band could also help reduce contact of the watch and the t op of your wrist. Look at the last picture on this Amazon listing for an example of how it separates the watch case from the wrist. It may be enough, may not.
