I have a 43" 2015 M43-C1. You shouldn't have any issues with 4k but it doesn't have HDR10 so no HDR support. I had my PC hooked up to it and play 4k games all the time. HDR hadn't picked up any steam when these TVs came out so it was kind of a non-issue at the time unfortunately. On mine all inputs support 4k@30hz but only input HDMI 5 supports 4k@60hz. HDMI5 is the clear choice but just so you know. HDR support isn't related to 4k support, they are separate things. Easiest way to see this is just to go to video output and you should see 4k as an option regardless of anything it says about HDR> As long as it says "Your TV supports 4k resolution" up top you're fine. You can find more technical information about the TV here.

Amazon or Best Buy

Specs says 240 hz rather 120 hz which is even better for framerates.

Make sure to get the 2018 model which has updated firmware supporting Free Sync which is ideal for gaming with your Xbox One X or gaming PC(with AMD gpus).

This is an LED TV with dimming. Really good picture at an affordable price. Only thing better though in terms of picture are the OLED or QLED TVs like the Q9F but those are much more expensive.

I wouldn't go cracking the thing open just to add an SSD. I recommend this enclosure:

I just purchased two of these: SecurOMax HDMI Cable (8K, HDMI 2.1, 48Gbps) with Braided Cord, 6 Feet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KNRXGW4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_7XkMDbVEM9JRG

That being said, now I’m doubting if these are legit. How do I validate them?

This is the external HD I've been using a little over a year now and never had any issues with it. We shall see how it handles on the One X.
